Church's Texas Chicken

First of yall when we walked in the employees were arguing and the employees were very rude to us.One the employees was in the back was arguing with the manager i heard him tell the manager to shut up and cursing at him all because the guy wasn't listening to his manager this happened around about 6:15 pm yesterday December 14th 2025 the black girl took our order didn't even welcome us when we walked none of the employees they were busy arguing at each other anyways the black girl that took our didn't know what she was doing she looked very stressed out anys she took our order gave us our empty cups and the ice machine wasn't working so I had to stand there with 2 empty cups waiting her to give me ice for at least 10 minutes and all the drinks in the machine were flat didn't taste right all and when I finally brought me my ice she brings it in another cup in dumps in our cups and I accidentally spill the ice the counter and she gets mad about it and then we finally get our food and then black girl forgets our forks and napkins and then she was all hatefulwhen i asked her that.This staff that they have there are not good employees working there.They need to train there employees better than what they do.But the food was good even though they were out of mashed potatoes.I had to mac and cheese instead.I give the employees there 1 rating food a 4 rating training employees 0 rating.And the atmosphere there was a rating 2 the floors looked filthy and tables had chairs stacked on top of the tables and the employees had there stuff on top of one the tables that people supposed to eat off of and there was trash on the floor by the tables Someone needs to set these employees straight please.

Ordered a 8 price family meal the chicken was dry and was not hot at all the okra was fried so hard u could not eat it the only thing that was hot was the 3 small potatoes and gravy wasted 36.00 for the worst food ever

Person on the headset (black tattooed male) was rushing me to order. Told me to hurry up I'm running up their drive through time. Was my first time visiting. Makes me not want to come back and to tell everyone in the city about this company. While cooking my food cooked an extra for him self and ate it in front of me. How is this hospitality? Terrible customer service. Store owner you should fire that man.

I had not eat fried chicken in years. Had a cravin' this day, and this Church's chicken was fresh, hot and on point!

Very bad experience. The person in charge is a despot, doesn't drink, wants to go out and fight, and threatens to fire us. A very bad decision. I asked for my money back, but they wouldn't give it back. They're looking for trouble.

It looks a little rough on the outside but the friendly service and amazing chicken keeps you coming back. Try the wraps if you get a chance! I waited 15 minutes to get mine but after eating it, I would've waited 30.

I am going to admit that I have never been here. Every time I think about going I check the reviews, the newest ones. I just can't believe that all of the bad reviews are fake so. I guess I'll continue going to Champy's, at least until these get get some kind of act together. Just leaving this on the hope things change.

Me and my friend wanted to have some chicken as most people do when they go to churches chicken, when they didn’t understand what we said for our order, we were understanding so we said it again then they proceeded to be rude by not properly communicating with us via the drive through speaker, after we repeated this process 3 times with no avail they ended up bringing who I assume was the manager over and he told us to go around to the window which we did and we had to say our order in small segments because this guy kept walking away as we were saying our order, after we ordered he said it would be a wait due to the cooking time even though the line was empty and had been empty for over an hour, would not recommend this location. In short: rude staff. Not to mention while waiting in line we saw workers eating while they were making our order! Do better.
