We ordered 2 orders of fried mushrooms. Cost us $25.44. This is what they look like. They look like they've been setting out for hours. The manager told me they were ordered through DoorDash. So go back through DoorDash to get a refund. She said, she had watched them fry our mushrooms. So they hadn't been sitting.

Breakfast is always great & the cakes....the best you'll find.
My new breakfast spot..... Much better than Waffle House, leagues above McDonald's. This is only my third morning eating here, my server Chris alreday knows how I like my coffe and he's kind and courteous, a real professional.....Thanks!

TERRIBLE experience at City Cafe Broad Street. You hate to play the race card, but the manager Gary is literally a racist. His bigotry is as obvious as can be. It all started on Friday when we arrived in Chattanooga . While visiting City Cafe’s new location since it had relocated and being repeat customers, we were excited and expressed our excitement about the food and wanting our son to gain the same experience. All this was stated in the presence of Gary and never once did he acknowledge that we were past customers. Any good manager would have , but we chalked it up as, he may have been having a bad day. Now comes Sunday. We returned to City Cafe for breakfast. Like all the patrons surrounding us, my ten year old son, husband and myself were casually eating and conversing. Out of the blue the manger Gary approached our table and says”are you guys finishing up?” Now we had just gotten our food ten minutes prior. My husband responded, not thinking anything of it, “ No we’re still eating.” Not even five minutes after and in five minute increments thereafter he kept circling back around, as though he wanted us to leave . It got so uncomfortable that my husband exclaimed, “Sir, do you need us to leave!” By that time we were over his unwelcoming behavior and asked for the check. We provided our waitress with the payment and upon her return to the table she advised us that our meal had been taken care of. Unbeknownst to us there was a couple who were sitting near us and witnessed the entire ordeal. The food at City Cafe is great, but unfortunately we will never return because we aren’t comfortable with Gary being there.
To Gary, times are changing even with all the hateful noise. The good thing is there are more good people than bigots like yourself. God Bless you!!
