Okay so first of all go there only to experience how professional and helpful JT is. Bro literally was hands down the coolest guy there. The patience and kindness he treated my wife when she was trying to learn how to throw was unmatched.Dude always made sure our axes were sharp and our handles were tapped well.On top of his incredibly awesome personality the whole atmosphere was god tier. Boards were always replaced as soon as it was needed.10000/10 will be coming back again for sure.

Can't remember the instructor's name, but the guy who was working the evening of 9/16 was awesome and provided clear instructions and even recommendations on form throughout our hour session. Huge kudos to him and the establishment!

Had an awesome experience. Went for my birthday for the first time. Samari was the best! I would highly recommend Civil Axe as a fun, unique experience and would definitely recommend trying to book your time when Samari is going to be there.

Besides us, there were multiple groups waiting for more of their members to show up. The staff was exceptionally friendly and ensured we were ok with waiting for the demonstration. They offered to let us go ahead if we wanted since we had been waiting. Very friendly, very fun, very knowledgeable.

My wife and I went here for a date night. From the moment we entered, we felt at home. JT was exceptional. He greeted us when we walked in and from then on he was there when we needed it. He explained how to do and was also there whenever we needed coaching. He showed us different ways and was easy to talk to and didn't judge us for our bad throwing. I would recommend this to anyone, experienced or not. Great environment.

Chris, the manager, was super helpful and helped create a really enjoyable experience. He gave us a great tutorial and then let us do our thing. He was great at not being overly bearing but also helpful. Our group had a lot of fun. Once you figure out the mechanics and the right distance you can really get in a great flow. Few things more satisfying than hurling an axe 15 feet through the air to smash Into blocks of wood.
