We went here twice on the way to and from Atlanta last weekend. The first time it took 45+ minutes for some reason but the manager came out and apologized. Worth the wait because it’s a delicious deep dish gluten-free crust! I already want to plan a trip back just for this haha.
Nolan was the best bar tender I’ve ever had, he was also very handsome.
One of our usual lunch spots for work. The home slice (rotating daily) is a great way to try some of the specialty pizzas.
It is hard to not get the small Detroit pizza though, I really love that thick and crispy crust compared to the standard NY style slice.
Whichever way you go, you won't be disappointed.
A Saturday afternoon in the Scenic City was made even more spectacular by the steaming hot, freshly prepared Detroit deep dish Melrose pizza with Italian sausage, peppers, onions, feta, and mozzarella.
The ambience exceeded the expectations of a contemporary downtown pizzeria with a coziness that made it welcoming to a small town soul.
Fantastic service and speed of requests being fulfilled. Thank you!

Delicious pizza, great selection of drinks, and wonderful service.
Our server Savanna was kind, patient and wonderful! Being her first day, we appreciate her confidence and making our dinner wonderful!
I could be convinced this is the best pizza in town! The crust was nice and crispy, and the toppings were great. But what really made our experience stand out was our server, Aaron. He provided excellent service, engaging conversation, and helpful recommendations. We'd definitely come back for him, and the pizza's a bonus.
Great pizza and friendly staff.
Great spot but the blue tv has been here much too long!!!!!

This is one of the best pizzas I’ve had! So good!
My sister and I were there for lunch. The assistant general manager Caleb was very helpful friendly and professional. Our waitress Emma was amazing, so friendly and professional. They both made our experience awesome. We have been there before and it was great but today was even better. Two very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend Community Pie for your next meal. You won’t regret it.
Initial visit from the server was slow, but not terrible. We ordered half vegan/half regular cheese and he did not point out which half had which cheese when the pizza arrived. The pizza was damn good, really enjoyed it!
Good test 👌 👏, good service 👏 👌
Back on the naughty list.
I have a severe wheat allergy. Back in 2019, I reported a problem with cross contamination of the gluten free pizza and the manager at the time made a very concerted effort to communicate with me and made contact every time I visited the restaurant, to ensure that my food was handled safely and avoided cross contamination.
Skip ahead to post covid return to office and this restaurant has let me down again. I definitely need a restaurant to honor their offer to provide gluten free choices or just stop offering them all together. Gluten free is not a fad diet or an option. It’s an unfortunate dietary restriction that people have to follow. If a restaurant is going to make gluten free claims, then they need to follow safe handling guidelines and respect their customers’ needs.
