The gentlemen behind the counter were pleasant and helpful. We got two of the plates, and while they said it would be a ten minute wait, I do not believe it took more than five or six.

My daughter got the shrimp with regular sauce, and I got the crab & lobster with spicy sauce. When I asked if the sausage was pork, was told it was, so I told my daughter she could have mine. The lovely gentleman said he could substitute two eggs for the sausage instead.

I want everyone to know that the spicy sauce was truly DELICIOUS! It was just the right amount of heat without being distracting or overpowering, and the taste was phenomenal! After reading the great reviews, we drove down from Soddy, and it will NOT be the last time we make that drive.

The amazing flavors were well cooked into every bite, and the portion size was enough for both of us to have leftovers tomorrow.

They do have seating for four, but it appears to be mostly take out business. There was a TV in the customer area, and there was good music playing while we waited. It was absolutely worth the wait to get back home!

One of my favorite places in Chattanooga. I’ve got to figure out where they get their sausages. I might like them even more than the crab and that’s saying a lot bc I really like crab legs! 😂

The best seafood restaurant in TN!! This was our first time here and it won’t be our last!! They gave us a free sample of the sea food Mac and cheese. And by sample I mean a huge portion for us to share while we waited on our order. It was so good we ordered extra to go. It was also so good we fought over who got the last bite. This place is the kind of joint you dream about running across. Great food from great people 100/10 recommend!!!! Seafood cooked to perfection!!

Absolutely blown away by Crab Trap Seafood Takeout! I ordered the Crab Lord and was shocked by how much food I got, enough to feed three people! The seafood was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with flavor…truly out of this world.

The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the quality is top-notch. This was the first seafood spot I tried in Chattanooga, and they’ve already set the bar extremely high. Best of all, it’s a small business, and I’m happy to support them. Highly recommend!

I’m happy that I came across this place during my last visit to Chattanooga. I had spicy crab trap plate, and it was very delicious! My favorite was shrimp, and will definitely will be back for more!

I knew finding good seafood in a land locked state would be hard but I’ve had a terrible time finding anything good in the Chattanooga area. I found Crab Trap Chatt on Instagram and placed an order. It was amazing! Best seafood I’ve had since I moved. The trap sauce was great and the peach lemonade was so fresh. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

This was $15. FIFTEEN DOLLARS. You can’t find fast food meals this filling and that well priced. I’ll be honest the place on the outside looks less than desirable but inside you are truly going to find a gem.
