Food was such small portions for the money there. There are much better options. The taste was unseasoned and cold. This was a take-out order. I asked for plates and forks, but they told me they didn’t have any. You could tell the cashier wanted to be anywhere but there. No more Cracker Barrel for me last time..

I can't rate the food because we don't have it yet. Service is slower than molasses on a cold day, and we had to wait 10 minutes for a table in a half empty restaurant in Tiftonia, Tennesee. CB service is the pits. (Finally got our food. Fish was awful tasted "fishy" like it had been frozen and thawed a few times. Steak fries were cold and sparse. Time to take CB off our list.

This was the first time we had a terrible experience. The food tasted old, and our waiter kept forgetting stuff. Like we needed napkins, asked for the gravy that belonged on our mashed potatoes- twice. Never got refills on drinks. had to ask for our biscuits that went with our food. It was just terrible.

Our food was ok as far as taste but some items were cold. The fries taste like they had been sitting under a warmer and not fresh. And a couple of other items were cold.

Having breakfast near the windows at the east side of the dinning room is cold.
Seating near the fireplace would be more comfortable.
Winter time seating should be considered by management especially during the early breakfast hours.

Had to wait forever.. for food. Our waitress kept saying the computer went down had to start over. There’s a big group ahead of us.. but we noticed tables with other waitresses sat after us and already had their food and were ready to go , we didn’t even have ours yet? We asked how long it would be on the food after 30-35 minutes of these excuses.. she said she didn’t know she’s not the cook. Then the manager comes out and offers us biscuits.. 30-40 minutes in. Says food should be up soon. Then when it came, my green beans which are usually very good, tasted straight out of a can, even looked different than normal. We will try a different cracker barrell, but we wasted a lot of time and money and staff didn’t really seem to care.. just excuses .

My husband and I took our family last night for Valentine's dinner. The food was not the quality we usually receive and the portions were smaller than usual. This is the first time we have ever had a problem like this. We go to Cracker Barrel on a regular basis because our family love it. Our waitress, Olivia, was very nice. She came over several times apologizing for the wait on our food, very complimentary of our grandchildren's behavior and manners, and very helpful getting the items missing on each of our meals. Now, when I inquired about the promotional deal of if you spend $35 or more on a meal you get a free dessert. She didn't know anything about it and referred me to the clerk at the register. When I got up to the register, the clerk was very rude. I inquired about the dessert and the mints (because I had spent over the $10 in the store - another promotion). She said she had never heard of that and that I was wrong and that I must have misunderstood. I tried to explain that I just received the email on it today. She was very short and did not try to rectify the situation. Just checked me out and sent me on my way. I then asked to speak to a manager. I waited over 15 minutes before a manger came out. I heard the clerk ask for a manager 4 times and on that last request, she said, I need a manager because she won't go away. Really? When the manager came out I explain the situation and his response was I don't know anything about either promotion. Needless to say, I didn't receive either promotional item, did not get asked about our dining experience and left frustrated. If you are going to have a promotional deal, please inform your staff. Thank you

Kid-friendliness: Very helpful with children's needs.

I love Cracker Barrel but was very disappointed with the quality of the food at this location. Biscuits were doughy, bacon was so tough I couldn't eat it & grits had big lumps in it. Maybe just a bad day for them.
