Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Love the food and atmosphere. It’s like coming home to grandma‘s house and having a big hug. However, I hate the changes in the newly remodeled restaurants I have been in also, the side/vegetable portions have become so small they often look more like a child’s portion, leaving me having to order more or add on a child’s plate of vegetables. Oh yes, in the bathrooms are universally, dirty, smelly, and disgusting no matter how far or near I travel. I should know I eat 2 to 3 times a week at Cracker Barrel.

I don’t usually do reviews… but I feel there needs to be a change. Unfortunately, my experience here was really disappointing. From the moment we walked in, service was slow and disorganized. Food ended up being cold. Staff seemed uninterested and inattentive, and there was little effort to make things right. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.

I used to really enjoy coming to this Cracker Barrel location, but unfortunately, my last few visits over a year + span ~ have been disappointing. The atmosphere has noticeably changed. Several of the middle-aged staff members have displayed consistently negative attitudes, and when seated near the server entrance, I could clearly hear them gossiping and bad-mouthing other coworkers. It’s uncomfortable and unprofessional. On top of that, some of the staff have shown up looking less than presentable, and their behavior makes you question whether they're entirely sober or fit to be working. It’s unfortunate, because this used to be one of my family's favorite spots.

We were welcomed in with a friendly smile. The waitress promptly came over, also with a smile to take our order. Our food came out shortly after. Everything was delicious. I had a dish with rice, it was seasoned very good, but was bearly warm. That was a first time I had food at Cracker Barrel that was not hot enough. And we eat at your restaurants a lot. Our check out experience was good. The ladies were friendly and helpful. My husband didn't see the peanut brittle that he always buy there, and they helped us find it. A very pleasant experience. Which always make eating out so nice! Thank you for making our evening out enjoyable.

Ms Smith at the front is amazingly sweet and friendly person. I am thankful to God we have such great people here on this earth like Ms smith. I am so glad I found this great cracker barrel filled with great stafff every time I visit! Thank you!

Food was such small portions for the money there. There are much better options. The taste was unseasoned and cold. This was a take-out order. I asked for plates and forks, but they told me they didn’t have any. You could tell the cashier wanted to be anywhere but there. No more Cracker Barrel for me last time..

I can't rate the food because we don't have it yet. Service is slower than molasses on a cold day, and we had to wait 10 minutes for a table in a half empty restaurant in Tiftonia, Tennesee. CB service is the pits. (Finally got our food. Fish was awful tasted "fishy" like it had been frozen and thawed a few times. Steak fries were cold and sparse. Time to take CB off our list.

This was the first time we had a terrible experience. The food tasted old, and our waiter kept forgetting stuff. Like we needed napkins, asked for the gravy that belonged on our mashed potatoes- twice. Never got refills on drinks. had to ask for our biscuits that went with our food. It was just terrible.

Our food was ok as far as taste but some items were cold. The fries taste like they had been sitting under a warmer and not fresh. And a couple of other items were cold.
