Not as good as it used to be. We decided to stop by for a To go dinner after not going for about 3 months.
I was so disappointed it's a $50 meal for my family!!
everything was bland (it wasn't before), part of my order was incorrect the other was cold. When I asked for help with my order everyone continued to stand there and kept talking to each other. All I received was an I'm sorry, not an offer to fix my order, NOTHING!

I've been to El Agave a number of times and the food and service have always been good. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large.
The complimentary chips and salsa are always great but the salsa can be on the spicier side for some. I haven't ordered anything I've disliked yet but the favorite thing I've ordered so far have been the Street Tacos, which were surprisingly filling. If you can't decide, the Special Agave is a sampler with a lot of food and a little bit of everything.
The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars across the board is because, while still flavorful, the Chili Verde was overcooked and dry a few times I ordered it. Otherwise, each experience has been great.

Would have loved to try it for lunch, but I walked in, was completely ignored by the staff and I waited plenty long enough to be acknowledged. The lady at the front looked at me but didn’t say a word, just pretended like I wasn’t there. I walked out and went to the Japanese restaurant next door where I was welcomed & seated immediately. The food was awesome as well.
If I could give this place a negative star rating I would. Horrible service. Couldn't even get a refill. The tortillas were cold. As a door dasher, I come in alot to pick up order and thought the service and food would be good but I'm not impressed.

If I pay $2.89 for a drink and ask for a to go cup, I should not have to pay for it. At some point these places are going to need to show some appreciation for patrons. And that is not how you do it. I could easily go just about anywhere near this location and not be charged for a cup to put the remainder of my drink in

i have always seen this restaurant when i come to walmart. my friend and i came for dinner on monday around 6pm. i’ve been looking for an authentic mexican restaurant that’s flavorful, and this is definitely the place!
service was quick and the staff was very friendly! the food was good, the horchata was also good. the menu had a lot of options to choose from, definitely something for everyone. i got pollo y camarón, super good 😋
overall, everything was good and will be coming back 🤗

We found a clothes tag cooked with the chicken in a meal. Said machine washable only!!! Told our server about it, he later came back and said that it was an onion tag. We asked if it was taken off of our receipt and he said, “why would I??” Ended up only getting a $3.19 DISCOUNT!! NEVER GOING BACK
When people unite in suggestions of business ventures it takes a lot to accomplish success for all customers but El Agave is doing pretty good as a matter of fact very good and thank you El Agave
