El Meson at Hamilton Place

We were visiting Chattanooga for a weekend away and found this to be a low to average Mexican food place, but then we have high expectations. We were seated right away around 8 on a Saturday night. The Texas margaritas were large but nothing special, just made with the too-sweet mix most places use these days. The food was not exceptional; my steak enchiladas were basically cheese enchiladas with steak topping dropped on top. It's a colorful, cheery place but unremarkable.

I had pollo con arroz and thought it was great. Can't wait to get deeper into the menu. Great service

We came here from Charleston, WV to celebrate my brother's graduation from Lineman school && the service/food here was phenomenal. The staff definitely went above && beyond to make eating there a wonderful experience. We will be coming back next time we're in the area!!

Used 2 b great. Could barely understand what the employee said. Didnt even know we were being seated. Threw the cheap dirty paper menus on the table and didnt say anything. Salsa was bad. Server took forever 2 bring refills. The food was tasteless. Way too overpriced for the amount of food they served. Dusty. Very loud

Absolutely the very best Mexican ever!!! Oscar is the best waiter. Everyone is so friendly i can't say enough about this place other than you MUST go! Anything you order I'd excellent.

We just did a company outing here with 18 people and had an over the top experience! The owner, servers and staff were all on top of their game.

The only thing that makes me write a review like this, is the fact the food might have given me food poisoning. This isn’t the first time this has happened, it seems every time I come here I have the same problems. nevertheless, the food was pretty good for the most part, and the waitress was very sweet!
