The food was excellent. Taylor was an excellent waiter. I ate here 2 days. The eggs were perfection both days. Would recommend the avacado toast.
It was a slow night but Randy made sure to keep me entertained. He was delightful and made me one of the best old fashioned’s I’ve ever had. The manager Michaela was the sweetest and sat down to talk with me after noticing I was by myself. All around wonderful experience at Stills & Mash.
Loved the tea. Is was a lot of fun. Plus enjoyed visiting with my friends.
Absolutely fabulous Mother’s Day brunch at Forge! My daughters and I had the best time celebrating. The food was next-level—everything from shrimp, crabcakes, chicken & waffles, and a loaded charcuterie board, to eggs Benedict, bacon, sausage, and the dreamiest hash brown casserole. Don’t even get me started on the desserts—they were out of this world! Moms even got a complimentary mimosa, and the mimosa flights were so fun to try.
The ambiance is beautiful. The hotel lobby is stunning and perfect for snapping a few pics—great lighting and decor. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the experience even better.
I shared some photos from our day on my page—would love if you gave them a like and followed along as I grow my page! Thanks, Forge, for making Mother’s Day so special.
Food was over cooked both nights I ate there. The steak instead of medium was way over done. The shrimp on the pasta I ordered was way over cooked and chewy. The person who's cooking doesn't know what they're doing unfortunately. The staff is very apathetic.
Today upon arriving to pick my child up from his state testing I parked and a tall blonde headed man. Starts screaming and calling me an F’n B , but the the real words. I had not even said a word to him. He then proceeds to set a cone in front of my car and kicks it into my vehicle. I then asked where I could park and was told “he didn’t find care”. I then say okay, I need to pick up my child how can I do that and he proceeds to tell me that he doesn’t care if my child never sees me again and he can die in there for all he cares. I was a GM for Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn and Residence Inn. I do not complain it the way I was treated today was absolutely uncalled for. I called and asked to speak to a manager who never addressed the way I was spoken to nor about ruining my property. This man was not even 4 inches from my face while speaking to me this way. I felt very threatened and met the police down the street to file a police report. My child was waiting on me thinking I wasn’t there because of this gentleman which also cause him pain and suffering. Again, I hate to complain as I know things happen but I was nothing but polite to this gentleman and I am sure this is not how you’d like your hotel to be represented. I also know this goes against everything Hilton stands for.
Best steak I’ve ever had
I dined there on 1/24/25 with a small group of people and didn’t enjoy anything about this place. We had such high hopes and wanted to experience the ambiance of dining with jazz playing in the background. Well, we were disappointed! The waitress for one was not welcoming nor was she educated on the wine selection and food. She seemed to get annoyed with us asking her about the wine. She had no clue how to explain the taste of the wine and rushed us to place our wine order. For a place that promotes upscale dining, this is not acceptable. The food on the other hand was plated very unappealing, not what is expected for that type of money. Some of the food was served to us burnt, some things were missing from the food. Just overall, it was a bad experience. I left there feeling dissatisfied.
Some friends and I had dinner on 1/24/25. From the very beginning the waitress was losing her patience; she knew nothing about the alcohol served to describe or make suggestions to us, along with the meals on the menu (and there weren't even a lot)! She brought out no condiments so everything each one of us asked for annoyed her, one time she wouldn't even acknowledge that we asked for something but brought it out anyways! The food was pricey and not good. The appetizers were burnt and when we explained to the waitress she said that they were supposed to be that way! One of the salads, a pecan salad, came with no pecans and when asked she replied that they were out of pecans, did not even think to let us know ahead of time so that we could order something else! The service was terrible and the food was bad! No wonder, even with the live jazz, they were so empty on a Friday night!
Don’t go if you have any food allergies!!We went to this place on Thanksgiving for a family of 4 hoping to have a wonderful meal. I have a food allergy and informed them of this 2 weeks ago when making reservation. When arrived the waitress said she couldn’t get an answer from the chef of what I could eat. The manager came out and didn’t care about my allergy nor did she attempt to accommodate me in any way. I only took 2 bites into the stuffing and started to have a reaction. Waitress was aware but manager didn’t come back over and apologize. I had to sit there while my family ate since they didn’t accommodate my allergy and we already paid an high price to eat there. After we ate, 2 other people in my party felt sick from the food. It was very unorganized, the food and the service was poor. It was $65 per person plus gratuities that was already taken out. I had to go to a diner afterwards to eat. Never again!! Worst place to eat!! I was informed that there was new staff and a new chef recently which might be why some of the older reviews were good.

Had Breakfast here with my wife while staying at the hotel. Service was very prompt, food was delicious but small portioned. More of an upscale restaurant for breakfast. The ambiance was very fancy and sleek. My steak & eggs were really good and well seasoned I just wish there was more of it for the price. Same goes for the eggs benedict that my wife had. We went the following day and the restaurant had a 45 min wait which was disappointing. All that to say if I was in town again would dine here again.

I reserved a table for dinner with my beloved, as we both love jazz. The night at The Forge did not disappoint. The music, the atmosphere, casual but still elegant and charming, the food, delicious, the service, excellent and yes, we will return!
Brussels and mushrooms were actually unseasoned Brussels and mushrooms that tasted like they came out of a can. Smoky cheddar grits was more like a can of grits and creamed corn cooked dry. Bison wasn't cooked well although it kinda looked better in presentation. This place was impressively bad for a place that rings up a $103 tab for a couple. Our server was nice though.
Oh my! The food was fantastic. I went solo on a Friday night for the Jazz and Wine Tasting. Both were great. All the flights were $10. The red flight was perfect with a Cabernet, Red Blend and a Merlot. I also order the Apple cake which came to me looking like a real apple. It was a perfect portion and a great way to end the night.
