Food is decent, people are nice but my biggest concern is over serving alcohol to customers to the point of embarrassment and needing to help the person walk.This WAS suppose to be a family restaurant that also served alcohol.I would definitely not take my kids or grandchildren there.IF this place opens back up in a different location I hope they take this in consideration.

I can not say enough good things about this place! The owner went above and beyond to make sure we got to eat after we had been at the hospital all day with my mother and the kitchen was already closed AND it was almost closing time!We got pork skins, BBQ pork quesadillas, half rack of ribs, okra and potato salad! The portions were HUGE and my husband being the pickiest BBQ person around, raved about the ribs! It was all so good! And the prices were excellent!John was more than accommodating to us when he could have just said “sorry we’re closed” but he didn’t! He was a super nice guy and you can tell he cares about his customers, even the one he has never met. I can assure you, he will get to know us because we will be going back!

Perfect place for BBQ, me and my friends stopped in on our trip and had some of the best BBQ ever. Even got to learn how to say okra right. Definitely coming back her next time I'm in Chattanooga.

We heard from locals that the BBQ here was very good. So we went to try it out for ourselves. I had the brisket and thought it was exceptional. So tender. I really didn't need the knife that I had requested. Other family members had the pork plate and they were also very pleased with their meals. The servings are plentiful and the side dishes come to the table piping hot. We will be going back soon to try other options on the menu and highly recommend giving this place a try.

Great little BBQ place. Very generous portions served by friendliness that should be in Tennessee but is often missing in other establishments. Cook was very knowledgeable and helpful with gluten free options.
Vegetarian options: Most dishes like pizza and quesadillas can come with the pork on the side.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free is possible and very good. Ask for the cook's recommendation on what is safe to eat.

My first time ever in Chattanooga, coming from LA, and I was in for the best treat! Sad I didn’t get to try the brisket because they were out, but man that Mac n cheese and green beans were life? that Mac was the cheesiest goodness I’ve ever had?? that Parmesan on top was such a surprising treat I want more! Those servings are massive, enough for at least 2-3days. Check out the photos for review of me and my bf’s plates for drool effects!I can’t wait to come back to this spot.Not to mention, the owners are badass people who really take the time out to know their customers, we don’t get that in LA. Thanks John and team for the best Southern hospitality a girl could ask for!-LA girl who was only in town for one night???Ya’ll are amazing!

Went yesterday to get food,had to wait over 10 minutes for someone to take my order when NO ONE WAS AT THE REGISTER. The only reason someone came up there was bc I called the store phone while I was standing there. Total of the food came to $18 something ,but they charged my dad's card for $22 (which means they added gratuity without my consent bc i definitely didn't put it on the receipt). Will not go there again. If could give 0 stars, I would.
