If you like eating with roaches this is the place to go….. the manager acted like having a roach crawling on your table was normal and fine. She did not even ask anyone to clean up the roach I had to kill before it crawled on my baby.

Food is good. I have been coming here for many years and usually I would give a 5 star review but recently they’ve started being stingy on the portions and high on the price. This is how much rice they gave me and I know for a fact the rice portions used to be way higher than this. I’m really dissapointed in the portions and I asked them about why another person at my same table as to why their rice portion was way higher and they said it’s because they didn’t get vegetables so they got “double portion” um i’ve NEVER heard of this before and even with vegetables this is how much they give you .. and this is Without me eating anything off of my plate by the way .

Fuji was once one of the best Hibatchi and Sushi places in town. Now, it’s terrible. The Sushi is as bad as a truck stop and you are better off getting Hibatxhi style food from the frozen section. Not sure what happened to this once great place.

First and last time eating here. Went in for lunch and had Sushi. Waiter was friendly. I got a mexican roll and spicy tuna. The jalapeño on top of the mexican roll was black in the middle, covered up by sauce. I was like eh, but just removed it. Flavor was good otherwise. The spicy tuna was another story. The Nori was so tough and stringy I had to spit out the first piece. Then the 2nd and I was done at the 3rd. The waiter came back and ask how it was, I told him it was not able to be chewed. He said which roll. I told him and you could see my plate as well. He then went and got my check . Im thinking -ok, he will remove the roll and tell someone. Did not happen. Got up front to pay and told the cashier and she said nothing. Rang it up and I paid for both. Half Price - should not mean you get half the quality. ZERO customer service. Bad taste left - Literally.

I went with a friend, and our children for lunch. Service was 50/50, although upon paying the server must’ve canceled out my transaction after it was already paid and withdrew from my banking account. He went to the owner/manager and she preceded to tell me I didn’t pay for my meal, accused me of basically stealing from her restaurant in front of my 4yo. I showed her my banking account transactions where it withdrew. She then told me that she needed my drivers license, etc so she can hold me to my 21.87 that I ALREADY PAID!!! I literally showed her my bank transactions which showed Fuji 21.87. I live an hour away from Hixson, and she told me to come back and pay if my bank cancels it out. Which I told her I would do, but I was not paying for something twice. Whatever he did was NOT my problem. I will never go back here. Poor management, you don’t accuse good customers of stealing service and food since something went wrong on your behalf when YOU CHARGED MY CARD ALREADY. Now of course if my bank says they canceled it for whatever reason, I will go back and pay again. But to undermine a customer in front of their small child is HORRIBLE managing. Never again

Fuji has gone downhill bad. The sushi used to be good, it’s bland and without care. It’s almost like they take no pride in the art. Needless to say I won’t be going back

This was the most disgusting hibachi I’ve ever had. We ordered noodles and they served us legit spaghetti noodles! Our food was cold, and the veggies were 90% onions. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

All of the food was not fresh tasting or prepared horribly. Ordered yakitori as an app and my partner and I ordered to filet entrees, hers with salmon, and mine with scallops. The yakitori meat was tough and very little flavor. The filet was raw in several of the pieces and had very little flavor. The scallops had an off flavor and the rice was just disappointing.

The restaurant is really well designed. It has a good atmosphere. The food was pretty tasty, especially for it to be 50% off the sushi rolls. My server was okay. They didn't really go above and beyond and just kind of left us alone.

Food is always great and the servers are amazing! With that said it should be noted that if you show up less than 1 hour before closing they will turn you away. Three times we showed up at 40 min before closing and all 3 times we had to leave.

We enjoyed the food very much. Will definitely return! Everything was fresh, and very reasonably priced for the amount you get. The ginger sauce was amazing, and the sushi was fantastic. It was not crowded plus, it was clean. Service was polite and prompt.
