Had a great experience!
We had a party of 7 Saturday evening and everything was wonderful! Food was delicious and came out fast, and the staff and owner were so kind. Highly recommend!
The food, especially the Penne Toscana, was exceptional, and the service was impeccable service that truly set this restaurant apart. I can't wait to go back to try more things!
Simply: for the price, there are several other restaurants in Chattanooga that are higher quality both in food and experience.
I’ll start by saying our first couple of times here when they first opened were mostly positive, however, tonight was not so great.
The service was great and our waitress was very nice. The drinks, also very good- I’d recommend the black manhattan and the Expat.
As far as the food goes, the calamari was chewy and undercooked. The ribeye came out practically swimming in a teriyaki sauce. Admittedly, the meat was tender, but who swamps a ribeye in teriyaki at an Italian restaurant? It would be nice to a: have this mentioned on the menu instead of “demy glaze”. I’m sorry, but when I think of a glaze, a piece of meat swimming in marinade does not come to mind, nor does teriyaki.
The chicken Parmesan had decent flavor, but the chicken was way overcooked and paper thin.
Unfortunately, I wouldn’t come back here again. As stated above, there are far better restaurants where I’d rather spend the same amount of money for a better experience and higher quality meal.
Edited to add response to the owner: I know what demy glaze is and it’s simply not teriyaki sauce as you serve. If you cannot take a little bit of honest feedback on your restaurant and customers experiences, that’s on you as an owner. Honest reviews are needed so other customers know what to expect when they go to your restaurant or any other restaurant/establishment.
Our party of 11 had a reservation at 5:30pm on a Saturday.
Ambiance - We were seated at a long table in a back room. There was plenty of natural light, the table was well presented with plenty of room for everyone, a high chair was already there and waiting, and, although the atmosphere was lively, it was not too loud to have conversations.
Service - Our server did a great job of waiting on our group, as well as other tables. She always seemed close by, was pleasant and helpful, and didn't rush our group but kept the dinner moving along. She was outstanding.
Food - With a party this size, we sampled much of the menu. Servings were large. We all shared the calamari and bruschetta which were both delicious. Salads were very fresh and big enough to share. Pastas were very nice...al dente with large servings and tasty sauces. The spaghetti and meatballs was very good. There were plenty of vegetarian options for our vegetarian friends. Several of our group enjoyed the veal chop which was beautifully prepared and also large.
Desserts were great...creme brulee was a hit.
Definitely recommend dining at this restaurant. We had eaten here a few years ago but it was not such a great experience, and we ate outside. This time, it was great. We were worried about them accommodating a large party during a busy weekend evening but they handled it well.
Great experience! Came here for a friend’s birthday dinner (only eight of us) and sat on the patio - what a view of lookout mountain, and right at sunset!! We split some appetizers and the calamari was SO GOOD - breading nice and light, calamari perfectly cooked, not rubbery at all, and the sauce was delicious.
For my main, I had the spaghetti and meatballs and the tomato sauce was also exceptional - tomatoes tasted fresh and tart with a perfect blend of herbs. My friend had the bolognese and I will probably order that next time - it was hearty yet still light and flavorful.
To drink, I had an Aperol spritz and a black Manhattan - both perfect, nice and cold, and reasonably priced.
Service was exceptional - attentive without being annoying, as well as kind and accommodating to those with dietary requests.
I cannot wait to go back with my husband!!
Pretty spectacular for the Chattanooga food scene—homestyle Italian food with the most tender pasta and perfectly cooked calamari. I didn’t expect that! You can really taste the high-quality ingredients instead of relying on heavy spices to enhance the flavor. I can confidently say it’s a much better restaurant than anything you’ll find in the downtown area. Perfetto! Grazie mille to the owners for bringing such authentic Italian excellence to the city.

The food was excellent. The restaurant itself has a dated feel, but is very comfortable. Our server Kelly was outstanding, if you are seated in one of her tables, you will be cared for well! I have several dietary restrictions, and the restaurant did a great job taking care of me!

Always great food with great service ! Food never disappoints. Calamari is a great starter, pasta Alfredo is so far some of the best I’ve had in the city. Salmon could use some work but definitely still great. Dessert was amazing!

My second visit to Giardino...
Tonight for dinner, I brought Connie to Giardino, for some great Italian Cusine... Spaghetti Carbonara for her & Penne with Olive Oil and Garlic for me. On my last visit the Garlic was a little sparse, so this time I requested extra Garlic again & still not tasting it. Next time I'm requesting the whole Garlic Bulb! Dessert was Blueberry Panna Cotta... Everything was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly..... Our lovely server was Lainey. She was very polite, professional and there for our every need! I will return....
With a suggestion from a friend, and reading several reviews, we decided to have lunch at Giordano.
We both decided on a Build Your Own Pasta entree. My Wife chose Gluten Free Pasta, with grilled Chicken, Mushrooms & Garlic. I chose Pappardelle Pasta, Italian Sausage, Broccoli & Garlic. We both chose Olive Oil & Butter for our sauce.
We had three small issues with our food. They were not served hot. My Wife sent her's back & it was warmed up. Also, the cook accidentally put Onions in her dish, which she is allergic to. We think the cook also forgot the Garlic, as we could not taste any trace of it. As we love Garlic, I will ask for extra next time. I did get a sample of their Marinara Sauce, which was very tasty. We had Creme Brulee for dessert.
All in all, our meal was Delicious! We didn't let a couple of small mistakes ruin our experience!
I have to give a salute to our amazing server, Alayna. She is very polite, professional and an absolute Sweetheart. Took care of our every need.
The restaurant is well decorated & has a nice ambiance to it. We try to support local businesses as much as possible.
We are look forward to enjoying another meal at Giordano.

The service was very good, from the host who was kind despite a mix-up to the waitress who was lovely. The starters arrived fairly quickly, the lobster soup was very tasty, the salads were a bit disappointing in every sense, flavor, portion and price. The food did take a little longer than desired. The pastas were delicious despite being overcooked, the chicken was very tasty and the branzino too. For dessert we ordered a tiramisu which is one of the best I have ever eaten. The price is in the range of $50 per person.
