I'm picky about my teriyaki sauce. I wasn't a fan of this one. It was thick like a marinade and kind of cold. It tastes like the kind you get at the grocery store. Rice was good, chicken - was a little different but good, sauce - was terrible. Took maybe three bites and gave it away. I had high hopes for this one :(

Didn't know what to expect our first time here. The food was excellent!! - fresh delicious veggies, grilled chicken and beef - & HUGE portions. We ate on our bowls for 2 days! The man there was so nice & friendly. My brother was here visiting & he wanted to go again b4 he left. So glad we gave it a try!! 👏🏻👏🏻

What's lacking in atmosphere is made up with the delicious food. I went one day and had the chicken bowl with avocado on top and it was great! A couple of days later I went back with my husband and we both had the chicken bowl with avocado. VERY tasty!

I really enjoy golden big bowl! It’s simple and the perfect quick bite that really hits the spot! Wish I could find a way to meal prep for lunch!
Overpriced for their food. Charge extra for vegetables. Four bowls came to $50 will not go here again.

Love big golden bowl. I haven’t been back in many years, but went today and sure enough it is just as good as I remembered it. This restaurant has a simple business model and I think they do a good job of making a quality basic meal. I usually get the large chicken teriyaki bowl, and the portion is so generous. The staff at the front are so kind, and my greatest wish is this review may prompt more business for them. They deserve a dining room full of guests! The added avocado is worth it for me, and they have a sort of sauce section you can use if you want more flavor. For a post-gym meal the protein is unmatched, and it’s comforting too. I usually have enough for another meal!

So I am not really sure how this place has the rating it does….when I’m thinking of asian teriyaki bowls, I’m thinking fried rice, SEASONED and appropriately SAUCED (during cooking) veggies and meat.. my dish (the veggie teriyaki bowl add shrimp), mind you when you go out to get teriyaki bowls, the shrimp is never fried, this shrimp was and not noted on the menu that it would be fried so that just added another layer of disappointment when I received my bowl. The veggies had not a drop of the basic spices (salt and pepper), there was not even any garlic. On top of the extremely underseasoned vegetables, the teriyaki sauce was swirled ON TOP at the end of plating. How disappointing to have plain steamed rice, unseasoned vegetables, and swirled on after teriyaki sauce (which was extremely too sweet). Needless to say, if you like unseasoned, bland, totally off the mark teriyaki bowls, then this is the place for you :) I am asian and this missed the mark for sure, I will not be returning nor recommending
