Some of the best hot dogs ive ever had. You get to choose the toppings and how you want it. The staff was really nice and helpful my first time there. The place gives a very city meets vintage kind of vibe. The prices are not bad at all. I recommend if you're near the bridge.

This place is what I consider “low effort, great location”. The staff seems to be easily overwhelmed by medium-sized crowds, quoting long wait-times for food when the establishment has barely reached occupancy. They seemed absolutely mystified by the theory of “call me when the food is ready”, or even my saying “I’ll come back to pick it up”. All of this tells me the staff is probably poorly-trained and spread thin, which really reflects badly on the ownership/management. But, it is a great location so they’re always gonna make money regardless of how good the service actually is.

The people at this place are exceptional. We have multiple food allergies but we're able to eat a few menu items with of course some special handling. Starting with the managers, down to the staff....no problem attitude, willing to change gloves, make fresh batch of fries and oversee our order to make sure all precautions were taken. Being that our eating out options are extremely limited, having restaurants willing to accommodate truly makes a world of a difference. For us, Good Dog did not only serve delicious food, they provided better quality of life. Forever grateful.

We are in town for a wedding from Pennsylvania. The wedding was at Northshore Fellowship just across the street from Good Dog. My youngest daughter is a picky eater and has been sick. She lost a little weight so we are trying to help her get back on track. She LOVES hot dogs. So I asked her if she wanted one and over to Good Dog I went. Plain and a bun. She's not to fancy. She loved it! I snagged some mustard as I knew she couldn't eat it all. And she left me some, I agree. Good! There was something to the flavor of the hot dog. Not sure what, but it was really good. Thank you for the polite service and good eats! I highly recommend! As I've had them with lots of toppings before.

This was my first and last visit to GOOD DOG. I purchased three plain hot dog, one with a cheese sauce and jalapeños, and four small Dr. Peppers. I paid 28.93Further, the hot dogs were nothing special ....I've had much better at DQ.

Small little place, order at the counter. Out of a few menu items (discontinued, not sure why they don’t remove them from the menu). The food we had was good, the staff was friendly. I would call this a good lunch spot.
The hot dogs were just ok, definitely not to die for. I do know I sat there for twenty minutes before the employees realized they had not even started my order and I wasn't too happy about that. Probably wouldn't recommend.

I was recently craving a hot dog. Well, being in another town I turned to the most reliable source, a coupon at the hotel!!!! Anyway, you only live once so I took a chance. Good Dog was a very nice surprise. Located on the north side of Chattanooga in a quaint, shop filled district, it definitely drew a crowd. I had two dogs with slaw and pickles. Yum yum. Oh and the hotel coupon, it got me free fries. All in all a fantastic experience

Good Dog is always a great restaurant to visit when I go to Chattanooga! The atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly, and the food is top notch! Lots of ways to customize your order too, which is a plus. Highly recommend the Pimento Dog

This was my favorite place in Chattanooga for over a decade. It was great to have a place with a really tasty vegetarian hotdog, not an easy thing to come by. Unfortunately, since they sold to See Rock City, they’ve discontinued the frite sauces, started using seemingly lower quality hotdog buns, and now they’ve switched to a different veggie dog that tastes pretty bad. Texture is really weird, and it tastes more like a bratwurst than a hotdog. So sad to see a Northshore staple go downhill
