HAIR IN MY FOOD!! As I'm eating i discovered it in my mouth. She wouldn’t refund me said because i ate half. I didn't know i would find a hair as I'm eating. Smh i do not recommend!!

My wife and I searched Google maps for Local Chinese food in East Brainerd. The hibachi express came up in the results and we decided to go. It is located in a small plaza at the corner of E. Brainerd Rd. and gunbarrel Road. We both ordered hibachi chicken and shrimp plates and they were a little over $15 apiece. Our total meal which is the two plates came out to $30 and change.

The chicken and the shrimp were excellent, and the vegetables were very good as well. The portions were big. My only complaint is that I did not like the brown rice you see in the picture. That was the fried rice we requested. It tasted very much of curry and had a dark, brownish flavor to it. I would highly recommend getting another style of rice other than their “fried “on the menu. As i left the rice untouched, the pieces of chicken and shrimp and vegetables were plenty enough to make me full.

I also tried the ginger sauce in which I dipped a few pieces in to see if I would like it. I did not care for it. I did not try the white sauce.

If you are local to the restaurant or in the area, they are good eats and aside from not liking the rice. I felt like they were just as good value as other small hibachi houses around the city.

Parking: Is located in a small wall and you may have to be careful with turns and backing in and out.

Before Covid I ordered lunch from here and they highly disappointed me. Today I decided to give them another chance and it actually did not disappoint. The LEO style hibachi is full of flavor- I have found the regular hibachi is not. The chicken was very good and super fresh. My only complaint is the rice could’ve been slightly more cooked but I like to re cook my hibachi in a wok at home so I can hardly complain about that. Over all Leo style hibachi 9/10! A full plate for $12!

Mia and Leo are so kind and friendly. They are so fast and the food has been amazing every time. We especially have loved the Leo Style hibachi and the Bourbon Chicken. The Crab Rangoon is also delicious.

Food is always cooked fresh to order. Service was awesome as well, and taste is definitely 12/10 the hibachi chicken is delicious! I’m surprised they have bad reviews on here because it’s some of the best and freshest hibachi I’ve had in a long time! Only thing that might suck for some is it’s no dine-in . Will definitely be coming back

Always drove past this place tucked away in a small strip mall. One day decided to stop in and haven't looked elsewhere since! The food always come out great and something to look forward to on the ride home. They knew me by the name on the order within 2 visits about a week apart. To me that means the world when someone recognizes you. It's become the new craving on Mondays that I have to wait to fulfill on Tuesday as bad as that Sunday Chick-Fl-A craving we all get when we can't have it!! Don't sleep on this place !!

Ordered take out and arrived about 11:06a.m. Entire process took about 35 minutes.Hadn't been to this spot in a while because the location for me is to difficult to get out with traffic coming on all sides of the plaza.This place has FALLEN OFF.Upon entering I spoke and said hello before I even made it to the counter an older lady who was off to the side by a tall fridge who greeted me had a sour greeting she could've kept.By this time another female came to the register and took my order.Purchased 2 hibachi chicken and 1 steak/chicken combination plate for a total of $37.66Bland food and rice was not moistUndercooked rice, yes it was slightly hard.The chicken tasted tough and looked like it was butchered chunks of something.Lacked seasoning as well.Now I know why I stopped coming to this location in the first place.Too many other quality places in Chattanooga to ever revist this place.I know during Covid we all had social distance protection and protocols but it appears they didn't get the memo that in order to re bound afterwards you should go back to buisness as usual as this inside setup is indicative to the faded signs on the door.All soda machines had sticky notes on them that read "out of order"Tables and chair stacked over to the side and 2 in the middle just to hold the menu.Interior decor lacks an ambiance and looks tired and what I call " A hole in the wall" but the food is Trash.
