Family owned business. Food is absolutely delicious. Family recipes and just downright good! Owners were super friendly and it’s a laid back atmosphere. Best BBQ and the coleslaw and potato salad is delicious!

Absolutely delicious and the friendliest servers! They went out of their way to accommodate my electric scooter. The pitato salad was creamy and so good. We loved the baked beans and the cheesecake Highly recommend this cozy, hometown place. ❤️

Very Friendly staff in a very cozy place.
Staff went off menu for me making a combo platter for me with a little of each meat.
Everything was great. From the meats to the beans and Cole Slaw.
I was in town for 3 days and ate there 2 of the 3 and twice on one day.
You would expect good BBQ from TN and this place did not disappoint.
I highly recommend.

Such a hidden gem! Delicious food, awesome service, nice and cool inside. It's hard to find good barbeque, baked beans and coleslaw but baby let me tell you, they are amazing! I got the chicken barbeque baked potato and it also came with 2 sides. The food is very affordable too! A friend suggested we go there and I'm afraid he started something ☝🏽. I only got a picture of the appetizers because we inhaled the main course. My husband said the ribs have a good smoked flavor not too heavy on the seasonings.

Really great family owned and operated BBQ joint—seriously! CJ is working in the kitchen, bringing his grandpa's recipes to life. He's even got a burger named after him on the menu!

Seriously good food (I had the chopped pork, with their house made dry rub and BBQ sauce, corn on the cob, and fried okra.) Delicious, meat was smokey and moist. Sides hit the spot. Small plate was a great portion size, and reasonably priced!

Dining room felt like going to my grandma's—homey. Definitely recommend stopping in. It's near the shuttle stop, and if you're visiting, the family is super friendly and offers great local recommendations.

We happened upon Hickory Pit Bar-B-Que while driving through Chattanooga and decided to stop in for lunch—and wow, we’re so glad we did!

The pulled pork and pulled chicken were absolutely amazing—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The portions were very generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth.

This is a small, cozy mom-and-pop spot with a charming local feel. The staff made us feel incredibly welcomed, like we were longtime regulars.

Bonus: there’s a fantastic Star Wars mural right across the street that makes for a fun photo op!

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area—you won’t be disappointed!

We have eaten here many times. Food and service has always been outstanding. Try the catfish on Saturday. Amazing!

Have eaten here numerous times through the years. The current 2nd generation owner is doing a wonderful job of following in his father's bbq traditions . I recommend their pork bbq sandwich or pork bbq plate. They will ask you if you want their bbq sauce on the bbq or on the side. Order their bbq sauce on it. Great combination. Lots of options for sides. Great potato salad, okra, onion rings and plenty more.
