I can’t stop thinking about Hickory Pit Bar-B-Que. I stopped here once, several weeks ago, on my way from Nashville to Atlanta, and I’m trying to figure out a way to go back. Yeah, we go to Chattanooga a couple times a year, but I can’t wait that long.

Seriously, this was possibly the best pork sandwich I have ever had. And I’ve had a lot of bbq pork sandwiches. And the Brunswick Stew was great.

Our family-of-3 agreed to try Hickory Pit Bar-B-Que for dinner as part of our overnight stay at an East Ridge hotel, and we were all very pleased with our dining choice. Thecrestaurant is a small building with a simply furnished inside dining area & a front porch with seating & a wrap-around drive-thru lane. Very good food. Owner’s dry rub goes great with everything. With it only being 10 bucks a bag, it’s a steal for a big bag. We spent 60 bucks total plus a tip for 2 teens and 2 adults. The owner was super nice and was right there when you needed something. If he does not offer, ask for his dry rub to try it. It is so good you may just buy a bag. Overall, the food was great for a small business. The only thing I can say is if you are looking for some fresh-squeezed lemonade...
