The bar simply wasn’t our vibe, so it would not be fair if I rated the establishment based off atmosphere. The one star is solely for the drinks and service we received. The mojito tasted like soda water with a mint sprig. The pistachio and oreo espresso martini was poorly made with majority of the mix settled at the bottom of the glass. Maybe we caught them on them on an off day 🤷🏾♀️

This place is what it is because of the staff, decor, and atmosphere! Immediately on arrival you are greeted by the wonderful host, George. He sets the tone for a wonderful experience of great food, cocktails, and music. Whether is a Saturday night with friends, or the amazing Jazz on Wednesdays, or a random week day happy hour, I’m always grateful to be able to go “Home”.

Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had downtown.
Home Bar in downtown Chattanooga is already a great spot, but Savannah and Anna made the night exceptional. From the moment we sat down, they were on it — super friendly, attentive without being pushy, and just genuinely good vibes all around. You can tell they actually enjoy what they do, which makes the whole experience that much better.
Drinks came out fast, everything was made perfectly, and they checked in just the right amount. Whether you’re just grabbing a drink or hanging out for a while, if you get Savannah or Anna, you’re in good hands. They’re the kind of servers that make you want to come back.
Can’t recommend them enough — 10/10 service.

I was visiting for a wedding and came to visit with my mom… were both grieving and the bartender Anna was so rude to us it really made us feel out of place and unwelcomed. I love Tennessee and will be back many times and will make sure to steer clear of this bar. Do better and be kinder.
