I love being able to get a well-balanced, nutritious lunch for a reasonable price every day at work. Everyone I've met working here has been so awesome. AND I can order online/order ahead? (Which I do every day because the line is always out the door at lunch time ?) This place literally couldn't get any better.Also, I've noticed they take special care not to add unexpected love-it-or-hate-it foods like onions and mushrooms to their endless offerings of veggie sides/salads, one of which I order every day. As an onion fiend whose dish would be ruined by a surprise mushroom, I definitely understand and appreciate it.

Every so often I visit a restaurant where I am immediately delighted before I even sit down. This is one of those places. You already know this place is good because there is a line at all times. The hot line full of southern soul food favorites serves only to reinforce this notion. The staff are friendly and genuinely seem to be enjoying their time at work. The owners are working alongside their staff and greeting virtually every customer by name. I will make it a point to visit Hour Place whenever I am in town.

Warning...this review is about to be as cheesy as their awesome Mac n cheese. I work in the medical mall and everyday I see the life that Hour Place pumps into the hospital. Comfort food is the perfect description. Healthcare is not an easy job and this place gives everyone the chance to escape for a few minutes and enjoy great home cooking. From a doctor who has just had to deliver bad news, to a family celebrating a new addition and having non hospital food together for the first time. I've seen Hour place help families join in prayer over a loved one, a mom pregnant with twins and stuck living at the hospital for weeks get to have lunch with her husband and kids, exhausted healthcare workers getting a chance to breathe and laugh. The awesome ambiance of 90s hits while you wait in line and are greeted by Justin who, I swear, knows everyone's name in the hospital. He'll draw a funny cartoon on your box and make you feel special. The rest of the staff continue the experience and make you feel at home. I've seen Steven run out to the tables to bring someone a dessert they just "have to try". The team here is amazing and the food is just as great.

I went there to eat the falafel l'd heard so many good things about and they were unfortunately closed for the holidays but l met the owner out in the market and was so very impressed with him l plan to return and get the full experience and support this local business many more times.

The greens have just the right amount of seasoning, the pasta salads are always great, the chicken tenders are amazing.. and.....those Rice Krispy treats......are big enough to share! The food is outstanding and the customer service is phenomenal.As a matter of fact, the day before Thanksgiving, I witnessed a customer picking up her Take & Bake order only to realize that she had mistakenly ordered plain dressing instead of chicken & dressing. Christina swooped in, without hesitation, and saved Thanksgiving for this customer! She took that dressing back to the kitchen, worked her magic, and returned it to the waiting customer WITH chicken! These were pre-ordered, prepared and packaged meals - which we all know takes TIME to prepare - but Hour Place will make certain every customer leaves satisfied, with a full belly and a smile on their face.This entire crew works so smoothly together, they're more like a family! Hour Place has great food. If you " Walk the Line" you're bound to find favorites every time! The " GrownUp Grilled Cheese" is wonderful, along with the Pesto grilled cheese! Their Quiche is fabulous!

Why I will NEVER return: A server on the food line was not wearing gloves to serve food, she then went to the cash register and took cash, made the change, and then straight back to picking up a styrofoam food container, serving utensils, without gloves, to fill an order. ?
