This is a great place with really good vibes.....that being said - know that it is loud. The service is very good...the food is really good. One of us ordered a steak medium well and it came out rare so we didn't get to eat together. The Honey Feta appetizer is amazing and I haven't had a seafood dish there that I didn't absolutely love.

Birthday lunch with very friendly staff and the food was delicious too. I ordered the chicken piccata and it was delicious with a very nice presentation. My guest ordered the crispy mahi bowel and reported it was very good. To top off the celebration we ordered the 5 layer chocolate cake and not a crumb was left. We both had to take home a portion of our meal as our serving size was generous.

We were never met at host station when we walked in so decided to sit at the bar after waiting almost 10 minutes... Therefore my pre request for birthday cake added on and brought as a surprise was never met. I did ask the bartender to add it on when the birthday person went to the restroom and at the end when he asked us if we wanted to dessert, I said no expecting him to bring birthday dessert out, but he did not and just closed the check.

The hostesses at STIR Chattanooga were wonderful, but unfortunately the experience ended there. We sat for 25 minutes without a single greeting—no water, no menus, and not one server acknowledged us. I understand busy nights happen, but being completely overlooked was extremely disappointing. I hope this is addressed so future guests don't have the same experience.

Wasn't seated for 25 minutes after checking in without any apology from the front desk. Appetizers were served before drinks were brought out. Wait staff did not clear the table before serving the main course. Overall very poor service all around and no regard to keeping us waiting to be seated for almost half an hour. Would not recommend.

We made our reservation for 5:00 PM but decided that we'd like to eat earlier 4:30 PM and they were able to accommodate us without any trouble. Our waitress, Paige, was outstanding! She took great care of us and made menu suggestions that we agreed to try and were not disappointed. We sat outside because the weather was nice so that made the noise a little bit more than usual (downtown traffic noise), but the food was delicious and very well prepared. We would definitely go back and recommend!

Truthfully, may be the best restaurant my wife and I have ever eaten at! Food was so lite and beyond flavorful and cooked to perfection! Mixed drinks were amazing and the staff was great! We celebrated our anniversary there and were truly blown away. Reviews were already good before I chose this place and it did not disappoint. Big shout out to Mark with a K and the rest of the team for making our dinner memorable for the right reasons! Thank you STIR!!

They were overbooked for the night which resulted in us getting seated 45 mins after our booking time. And then once seated, it took 20 mins to have anyone to pay attention to take our drink order. They need to manage their bookings better so the experience before eating the food is better. Won't be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to stir. We had an appetizer, two entrées, and a dessert. All was delicious!!! Great flavor. Great portion size. We also had the homemade ginger ale. Service was great. We sat outside. We would definitely come back.

We ate at this place four of the six days we were visiting Chattanooga. It was THAT good! Since The Read House did not serve breakfast, we took the short walk to this place (just down the block). Everything we ordered was super tasty, plentiful serving sizes, and reasonable priced. The bacon was heavenly!…so much so, that I had to order a BLT one day – just because.
