Have you ever eaten something, thinking you had just started, only to realize, with utter disdain and contempt, that item was finished? We did that with a whole box of donuts. Each cake morsel was spectacular, chocolate glaze (personal favorite ... I'd suggest ordering extra), red velvet, lemon, blueberry, APPLE FRITTER... simply elegant and amazing. We happened to arrive when the donuts were still warm. Would highly recommend.

We were driving on Broad St. and passed Koch's Bakery. We turned around and stopped for a treat. The lady behind the counter was very nice. They didn't have a lot of choices at this time but she said they had been having trouble getting some ingredients. The items they had looked good and fresh. We opted to try some chocolate chunk cookies. They were delicious. We will probably stop again on our next visit.

Just got 4 different types of cake donuts and they were all so full of oil that when I bit in it was like biting into an orange with oil gushing everywhere. They either didn’t let the fryer get to a high enough temperature before cooking or the batter was too loose, but just drove home and threw them all into the trash. What a waste of time and money.The order donuts pictured in order reviews don’t appear to have this issue so it was probably an off day, but I’m busy traveling and don’t have time to request a refund or try them again. This is why consistency is so important.A good cake donut should be nice and dense, a nice firm crisp on the outside, and a moist dense cake beneath that.
I'm giving it 3 stars due to its cookies. I picked up doughnuts and cookies and although the doughnuts get 4.5 starts the cookies get a 1. They were hard like a brick and must have been left over from the night before.I have gotten doughnuts here before so they are good with those, but stay away from cookies.

Had a cup of coffee from mad priest then picked up an apple fritter and a pack of 2 sausage breakfast slammers (my own sweet and savory), they were both great. I always go in to get a donut and always end up with an apple fritter. Great quick stop with good people and good food.

Everything I have tried there is wonderful! Coffee shop next door as well! We always visit when staying at the District 3 Hotel. They referred us a couple years back and we stop each time! Hello Dolly bars are the fav!
