I'll have to admit they brought me what was told was a chicken broth and it smelled straight up like raw spoiled fish and tasted the same way I asked was there any fish in the broth and they kept telling me know it was chicken but it was horrible smelling and horrible tasting The hibachi chicken and fried rice I got with vegetables with very delicious service was very good

I ordered Filet Mignon teriyaki and it definitely was not Filet. I paid for filet but got sirloin or another cheaper steak. Will not order again.

Been coming to Chattanooga for 20 years and have always been disappointed in Asian food options, especially sushi. This place is amazing and I’m glad I finally found a good option. Hibachi wasn’t too salty and had great flavor. Sushi was fresh and priced well. Overall really happy and hope this gem stays open for a while.

Y'all, I thought this was just a take out counter, but I was so wrong! They have lots of great seating. The food is good. I ate here with my husband before a classical music concert. I thought we would be way over dressed, but folks come here from whatever they are up to. Some people were dressed up fancy, some were in sweats. Will definitely come here again
We love this place! By far, this our new favorite sushi spot in Chattanooga. The chefs will wrap any roll in cucumber to accommodate diet/allergy. The owner is very nice and always excited to see us.

We’ve been eating at Kumo at least weekly ever since it opened well over a decade ago. It’s one of our favorites. I love their nigiri and chicken hibachi. Their miso is delicious. Highly recommend! We usually get take out now but eating inside is great! Casual atmosphere and helpful staff. They know my husband by name since he is the one who always picks it up ?Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious veggie options. Their hibachi tofu is killer.Parking: Shares with a small strip and ALDIsWheelchair accessibility: Ramp will access to door close by. Space is wide and spacious.

Kudos is on point with all-around service, Great Staff, Awesome Food, I love watching the fish in the tank and being in a relaxed atmosphere when I'm picking up my food. We like to get their bento box with sushi and teriyaki. It comes with their salad or miso soup. We get their salad because it’s alway crispy and really fresh tasting. Excellent tasting food and friendly people. We’ve gotten food to go before and really enjoyed it. This place is bigger than it looks from the outside, so don’t let the outside fool you. It is really a hidden gem…or at least a particularly visible one.
