got dropped off here to get a few drinks to celebrate my husband retiring from the Navy. wanted to check out the atmosphere and have a laid back night with my husband. online it says they close very late at night and it was only around 8-9 when we came in. as soon as we walk in we are greeted by a few men at the bar telling us they are permanently closed, that they are closed for the night, and they are still open and we can sit down. i assumed they were joking with us. they asked where we were from and i was gullible enough to reply. kept saying we are closed despite people at the bar drinking and all the lights being on. felt like we were getting messed with. had to walk a couple blocks just to find somewhere for my husband and i to sit down. very rude and douchey. will not come here again.

There is nothing Irish about this place! We went here because we saw pictures of the menu online. No Bangers & Mash, no Shepherds PieThe menu is so small now! The food was mediocre at best. The atmosphere is very basic. They were blasting music at 1 PM on a Saturday afternoon. It's just not a good environment, not a good restaurant, just very disappointed.

Called in for one while passing through. Great music, decent ales and a somewhat 'authentic' biker crowd. Hard to call it a 'welcoming local' but safe to say a friendly bar, suitable for anyone without a concern for the odd bit of industrial language.

Local hole in the wall dive bar at its finest. Can’t get a better location, just feet away from the bridges and everything downtown. If you’re looking for a quality meal look elsewhere, ( but who would be looking for more than bar food at an Irish pub called with this name sake. Service was fine as long as your cool with asking for water three times before you get it. But why go to a place like this a drink water anyhow????

As others have said, I would definitely describe this as a locals only bar. This place is hit or miss on the service. It definitely depends on your bartender. I've been here twice (about 6 months apart), and I won't be coming back here the next time I'm in Chattanooga.

Okay. So. If you aren’t looking for a bar experience, don’t come here. It’s a bar. If you don’t like divey-ish bars, keep moving. The service was amazing. The music was killer. The chili and grilled cheese absolutely hit the spot. And the draft selection was soooo good! They had a few sours on tap, which brought me soooo much joy.I love this place. But it is not for the uptight. For me, it is my happy place.

No reason this is called an Irish pub. There is NO Irish food or beer. Scummy place. Stay away. Food horrible. Order wrong. Charge you $2 to start a tab.

Asked for a credit card for a tab. Only one irish beer. No traditional Irish food. Fish &chips had no chips. Menu on line is NOT their menu. Mainly bar food. Place was dirty. Loud drunks at the bar. Woman had small children at the bar. Charged me $2,00 for a tab. Then 4% for card use. Banks charge 3.25%.

Pub located nearby the Downtown Chattanooga riverfront area. The service was very good. The Irish offering is Magnus Cider (very good) and Guiness Draught (always good choice). All other beers on tap were craft or weel known beers. The cups are plastic bottles glass, but the Temps of the drinks are very cold. There are also beers served in bottle as well.Plenty of tables to sit or can sit at the bar. There is a pool table. We had a good experience, it is no frills but the service was good. We liked the music!!

Bad service. Bad vibes... SUPER sketchy. Unsafe.I witnessed a couple get harassed BY THE WORKERS. The couple was outside and the bartender came out - yelled at them, threatened them, and wrongfully accused them of things... and what appeared to be another worker .. maybe the door guy?? POURED A BEER on the guy for no reason at all and yelled at the woman hatefully. I felt so bad for them. I've been here a few times ... they serve minors and drugs. If you want to get harassed, threatened, and feel super unsafe well then sure, go to Leaping Leprechaun. There's even been shootings outside before.. but after what I witnessed last night I will never be back. And I've reported this to people I hope can help. This place needs to be shut down. I wish I would of recorded what happened to the couple.

Food was very good. The Scotch Egg was great. Owner was very engaging. A pub in the traditional sense not in a theme motif with Irish or Scot decoration.
