I am from Chicago and can say this is the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. The way they wrap it is smart and makes eating easy. i got the OG and subbed with pepper jack and hot mustard and my friends got the beef and looooved it!! Highly recommend!

A fantastic and fun little spot for lunch, especially if you're just passing through town. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the decor is exactly what you want from a sandwich spot in an urban area.

The food here is impeccable! Best sandwiches in town hands down! Italian Beef and Spicy Miami are my favs! Salads are great too when you want to cut the carbs a bit! Service is always amazing as well!

Chicago is known for its great food, but there are three signature items for which everyone knows Chicago, its pizza, its' Italian Beef and its' Chicago dogs. I'm not exactly sure where this Chicago Hoagie thing came from, but I tried the Italian Beef when they first opened (and it came up woefully short versus a true Chicago Italian Beef) and today I revisited to give their version of a Chicago Dog a try. Here's the problem, no Vienna Beef ( you shouldn't have to ask) no truly iridescent relish, I'm not sure what that attempt of fresh cut chopped onions was, and while it was a poppyseed bun, it wasn't the soft fluffy bun I expected. The mustard and celery salt they got right, but the Chicago Dog is iconic, with a flavor profile known and loved by tens of millions and this just comes up far too short. It's a cute place, the service was fine, but if you're looking for Chicago signature food products, it doesn't work. Hoagies, not really a Chicago thing, so I don't know.

Wonderfully accommodating owners, delicious subs, and a colorful vibe set Lil Mama's apart from other sub shops I've been to in town. My only small criticism is how the subs are served. The subs are covered in oil by design, which one of the owners Michael explained to me beforehand. Plenty of napkins will be required for your meal. That being said, I still thoroughly enjoyed my food, and my visit. I recommend Lil Mama's to anybody who is craving an amazing hoagie.

Best Banana pudding I’ve ever had! The staff was friendly & helpful, the vibe is nice there I will definitely recommend for others to try, I will be back to try more items !
The most mediocre $26 dollar sandwich and chips I’ve ever had. The sandwich was oozing with mayo to the point that you couldn’t taste anything else. The “all that” chips are simply plain lays potato chips with ice cold parm cheese and oil on them.This is the first review I’ve ever made if that tells you anything.

The place is very pleasing to the eye. But as a sandwich lover it just didn't do it for me. The sandwich was full of meat but flavoring was bland down to the bread. Not worth the price, but that's just my opinion.
