This place is definitely a vibe. Very grungey atmosphere, and a good service team. The Thai chili dog is insane, the curry is good (and I'm not even a fan of curry), and the burger is one of the best I've ever had in my life. Fried rice is impeccable as well. Can't recommend more

The Murder Burger took me back to a time when dairy bars served hamburgers with a crispy edge. I highly recommend it. However, if you don't like eating in dim places, this is not the place for you.

Love the vibe here. Hands down the best burger in town. Their brunch menu items are great (looking at you, mango lassi French toast!).Only downside is parking, but you can park on the street by the school if nothing is close by. No big deal.

I dunno who’s working back in the kitchen or what the hell just happened, but I just ate one of the best meatball sandwiches I’ve ever had. That sandwich had no business being that good in this time and place. It was freakishly good. It was sloppy as hell, and made me mad trying to eat it, but it was still worth it. I personally would make the balls smaller, or some sauce on the side, or bigger bread, but either way compliments to the chef. That was incredibly good.

So this place was highly recommended on a feed I read on social media so I figured it was worth a shot. People just raving about the Murder Burger. Well...I guess I learned my lesson. When you walk it the atmosphere is not very welcoming. Sure it's an old house and they obviously tried to maintain a level of history, but the exposed crumbling fireplace with an oval mirror covering a square hole was a bit weird for my taste. The soda is served in a can for $2.50 and a bag of Indian flavor lays is another $2.50. These chips are NOT good. We were the only ones there and the service was sub-par. The guy who took our order was very abrupt and off-putting. The only bright side was the Murder Burger as it was I'd say a 7/10. I don't see any reason to return, which sucks because I do like to support local business.
One of the few truly local Chattanooga bars in town that aren’t trying to be “hip”. Great food, even better people! Feels like home.
