Ms Lois gave me a favorite auntie vibe. We had such a warm conversation, the fellowship was wonderful. We missed church that day but Ms Lois fed our souls. The food was good…just needed a little seasoning. You know us younger generations like heavy seasoning 😁. All and all I rate it a 4.9:5.

Lois' is an unassuming place that I'd driven passed a few times without noticing but I'm so glad a quick search brought her place up.

Lois' gave my friend and I a hearty welcome and made us feel right at home. I had the chittlins with creamy mash and turnip greens and my friend had the chicken with gravy, creamy mash and mac and cheese. Everything came out piping hot (as someone who works in hospitality in Western Australia, hot food is everything...

Ms. Lois has been around for many years. She even had Lois lounge years ago on 9th street ( hay days). She's been at this location for 30 years. She has the best and cleanest chitterlings in the city and the price is worth it. The dressing is to die for. When I worked in that area I was there 2 or 3 times a week. I love our long talks. I never wanted to go home to eat my dinner I sat right there and enjoyed the conversation. She always has a smile that lights up the room....
