What a special little place. Intimate, but very cool with a edge in decor. Moody and sexy vibe. The service staff was so friendly and genuinely gracious. Speakeasy entry is very cool and special. We were greeted at the door by Natasha (rock star!) And escorted to some bar seating and given a short chat about how they operate. Very classy. Others say it's expensive, but considering everything is made from scratch and sizable pours, we loved the experience. Their repertoire of drinks is a standout, which is refreshing. The menu even let's you know the scale of boozy/fruity/sweet, etc...and what glass snd ice style. LOVE the attentive details. It's definitely a few steps above in hospitality versus your everyday pub. (Which we also love a pub And dive) This place made us feel special. All 3 hosts that night checked in with us and even brought little trivia games to play while drinking. We'll done! We will make sure to come here with each Chattanooga visit. I guess it's a cute spot. Service and drinks are less than ideal. $8.00 for a warm beer isn't my go to. Not horrible but it is very dark and I feel like the whole phone to get in thing is a little lame. Anyways, not a horrible spot but no great. I only come here when my female friends drag me along with them and it will continue to be that way.

I had a disappointing experience recently, which I feel compelled to share for other customers and management awareness. While the initial service was welcoming and friendly, the situation quickly soured due to poor communication and unprofessional behavior from one of the hosts.
My friends and I were greeted by a host who was initially friendly, and seated us at our table. Our waitress was also excellent, taking our drink orders and bringing them out. However, after a short time, one of my friends began feeling unwell and closed her eyes for a few minutes in the booth.
To our surprise, the same host came by and, without any warning or understanding, rudely told us that “she’s not allowed to sleep here!” in a demeaning tone. While we understood the importance of maintaining the atmosphere of the venue, the tone and delivery were completely inappropriate and unnecessary. The comment left us feeling uncomfortable.
The situation escalated when, after my friend woke up, the host walked past our table again. My friend's boyfriend got his attention and made a lighthearted joke of the situation, only for the host to respond by saying, “If you’re going to be an asshole about it, then you can just leave,” before walking off. This outburst was not only rude but completely uncalled for. Instead of escalating the situation by swearing at us and threatening to kick us out, the host could have maintained a professional demeanor and offered a simple gesture of hospitality, such as offering coffee, tea, or water to my friend. That would have been the appropriate, professional response in a situation where safety and comfort were the priority of the establishment, especially given that we were paying customers.
To add insult to injury, we noticed the host speaking to other staff behind the bar, and shortly after, several servers brought waters to our table, clearly signaling that they wanted us to leave. While we appreciated the gesture, we spent approximately 45 minutes here having 1 or 2 cocktails each and it was clear we were being made to feel unwelcome.
As members of the LGBTQ community, we were initially relieved to find an establishment that was inclusive and welcoming, which is not something we often find in this area. It was nice to see that this establishment was such an inclusive space, but unfortunately, the behavior of the host left us feeling completely disappointed. We take full responsibility for our friend's decision and understand the need to adhere to the bar’s policies which we then complied with. However, what we don’t appreciate is the host’s delivery, lack of professionalism, and how the situation was handled.
It’s unfortunate that a night that started off pleasant and welcoming ended in such a negative and uncomfortable way. Unfortunately situations like this happen constantly in Nashville when customers are kicked out of establishments instead of being helped and end up on the evening news as missing or dead. Surely Chattanooga could do better!
We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the need for better customer service training, especially in handling sensitive situations like this. Needless to say we won’t return, but I fear for this establishments business if this kind of behavior from staff continues.

The little short hispanic man will be so insecure and will be upset if you close your eyes t for a second and come tell you to leave if you’re smarter than him. He’s super rude and un welcoming. Our server was great but but the shorty hispanic man got upset because i leaned back and closed my eyes for 2 seconds. Super unwelcoming for a bi person and he was super rude to my partner. Will not be back again thanks to him. Our server was great.
