Stopped in for quality home cooking. Daily special was chicken fingers, green beans, and mashed potatoes with gravy. Not disappointed. Made a mistake and set in the the lower room. Service was weak there. Out of sight out of mind. Staff was very friendly.

Great small local place. It's tucked in behind a liquor store so don't let that throw you off. Not a ton of menu choices, mostly sandwiches and wraps, but it was a great unexpected lunch stop for us. Good prices too.

Very cute place, the best chicken tenders and fries. Made from real chicken, not that frozen pre-made crap. The fries are hand cut . The food there is like what your grandmother would make. I will definitely be going back.

Have been there twice In a week. Just the kind of restaurant I'm comfortable in. Great atmosphere, staff are awesome and friendly. Food is great. Chicken salad lives up to it reputation. Perfect representation of local flavor, a true mom and pop meat and three. Local or out of towner, this is a must stop restaurant.

Great food! Love the family owned and operated atmosphere. No frills. Old school cafe. Didn’t love that I had to watch Fox News while eating but to each their own… Only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is they don’t use any sustainable products and on top of it they use styrofoam. No excuses for any business to still be using plastic or styrofoam. Too many cost effective alternatives that don’t destroy our planet.

Some good cost effective alternatives:

1. Bagasse (Sugarcane) Containers: Made from sugarcane pulp, these containers are compostable, sturdy, and suitable for hot or cold foods.
2. PLA-lined Paper Cups: These cups are lined with a biodegradable material made from corn starch, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic.
3. Recycled Kraft Paper Boxes: Affordable, durable, and made from recycled materials, these boxes are great for packaging food-to-go.

Look for suppliers that offer bulk discounts to further reduce costs.

The absolute best chicken salad I’ve ever had! Just reviewing it is making me hungry!!!

This is a hidden gem.
I ordered the mushroom swiss burger and it was awesome. Portion was generous also.
Being here feel like a small town dinner and the people who work here make you feel at home.

Honestly like going to eat at a friend's house and their family takes care of you.
Side note they watched my cup and re filled it like hawks and it was fairly busy.
Overall loved it here, highly recommended for a lunch

This cafe is operated by a hard working Mom and Son who have deliver GREAT FOOD for years! Their burger beat out all the entries in Chattanooga Burger Week, hand made never frozen burger patty and hand cut fries. Today I had fresh hand breaded chicken tenders and I have to say, they are the best I have had anywhere! And I order tenders everywhere I go! They have delicious lunch and dinner specials that change daily. You better get there early cuz they run out! Yes, it’s a hole in the wall behind a road frontage liquor store but if you’re looking for really good food at a reasonable price…. You won’t be disappointed!
