Went here for the first time about a year ago, and now Matilda's is a must-stop. Every time I visit Chattanooga. It is the only bar that has been able to craft the very specific vibe. That is exactly what I'm looking for, which is a low lit, chill, quiet and welcoming bar with excellent bartenders who provide great conversation. Whether you're there alone or with a group, I love this place. The custom drinks are fantastic and creative, but their classics are just as well crafted. I couldn't recommend going here highly enough.

I randomly discovered this hotel bar late one night as I was walking along in downtown Chattanooga and noticed their sign. On walking in I discovered this was quite an interesting and eclectic spot for an adult beverage. They do have a very interesting selection of beverages and the patrons were even more interesting than the beverages. You get excellent service here along with the fantastic ambiance. This is a very unique and fascinating spot in Chattanooga to investigate as part of your adventures in the downtown area. Overall it is certainly one of the more unique places I have visited in the Chattanooga area.

Before my friend and I even walked in Zane ran over to open the door and welcome us. Showed us around Matilda and was just overall so nice! The bartenders are also super chill and immediately greeted us, and got our drinks which are super delicious. First time here for both of us we would 1000% recommend it! I would hire Zane In a heartbeat at my restaurant just based on how he interacts with guest. Great team here and amazing drinks!

Small, cozy, intimate bar in the Dwell Hotel with a hidden, speakeasy feel. I was there on a Sunday evening and we were alone but I was told it is often packed. We didn't have any food but the drinks were delightful and the service was impeccable. I didn't get to see the whole hotel but my companion assured me the rooms are equally nice. I'll be dropping in again for a cocktail at least.

Matilda Midnight offers an intimate experience with dimmed lighting. The cocktails were tasty, yet pricey. I would definitely recommend for a date night.
This is a hidden gem. The drink menu is phenomenal. The Death drink is a must, but be careful it's very strong. I recommend everyone gets something different so you can share.
