Great place for Latin cuisine! Drinks are good and not afraid to pour!

For vegans, this place is a top spot. Their pepian is creamy, spiced without being spicy, and with crunchy vegetables that just lead to a complete mouthful with every bite.

I was honestly surprised at how enjoyable our visit was. I ordered the Tikal Skillet for brunch and the steak, eggs, and potatoes were cooked to perfection. We also had the Pollo en Pepian which was a very warm and comforting dish. I could not recommend Mayan Kitchen enough and hope for a return trip soon!

Great atmosphere and friendly service. The food was quite delicious as well. They have a decent cocktail collection that's worth a look. We ordered Arrachera which was quite delicious, but the churros here felt out of the world.

Food was good. Sides were lacking in taste and imagination. The steak I ordered for $32 while tend and good tasted like someone accidentally knocked the lid off the garlic salt. Definitely was not worth $140 for 3 adults and 3 kids

We were staying in downtown Chattanooga and walking distance from this gem.
Food was absolutely delicious. We had the churrasco and macaroni and shrimp. Both were so good. Eduardo our waiter provided an enjoyable dining experience with his kindness and professionalism since we had our kids with us and he went out of his way for them.
Would definitely come back here again.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner after reading current reviews. We are traveling thru town, staying nearby and wanted a great cocktail and delicious food. We were not disappointed. The reviews are spot on! We started with a jalapeño margarita and a basil lime margarita made by our attentive mixologist Kagon. We shared the tapas Croquestas De Piccadilly and the Hangar Steak Tikal. Their wine selection is very nice considering they offer numerous tequilas. My husband had the tequila old fashion, smoked and I had a house margarita for dessert. Don’t judge! Best meal we have had in a long time. Just wish we lived close by, we would definitely be back. Thanks for a great evening.

This place is great. We drove from out of town to see the ghost tour in Chattanooga. We would have a quick dinner, then be on our way. We ended up taking too long to pick a place and ended up at a restaurant that was extremely slow. They said it would take 30 minutes just to get our food once I tracked down a waiter. At this point, we were in a serious time crunch, but had not eaten anything. We saw, Mayan Kitchen And thought we would give it a try. We walked in and I told the waitress, Eva, we were in a huge hurry and could only do appetizers. She said she completely understood and tried to get everything to as soon as possible. She was hustling around tables super quick and giving excellent service at the same time. She brought us two amazing appetizers very quickly And handed us the check at the same time. We were able to make our ghost tour on time. I greatly appreciate the young lady Eva Who helped us make our timeline. The atmosphere here is very nice and the food all looks amazing. We will definitely be back. Thanks again.

We had several of the tapas, the yuca was outstanding, the croquet were very good, the ceviche not so much. Service was excellent.

This was my favorite Latin based meal I can remember having. I got a skirt steak with a special cheese sauce, and it, along with their special cheese dip was just outstanding.
Also, our server, Will, was awesome!

I had a great lunch here with a group of 9 people. We only had to wait long enough for them to set some tables together. The service and food was excellent. I really enjoyed the salsa with the touch of black pepper and spices.

I had the Veggie Tacos and they were amazing. Everything was good, the Cilantro Lime Rice, the Black Beans, absolutely everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. I can't wait to go back.
