My husband is allergic to so many foods that there isn’t a restaurant near us that we’ve found that we can eat at. On a recent trip to Chattanooga we decided to see if Mayan kitchen could accommodate and they came though like a taco truck at a salad convention. The hardest allergy to get around is soy including soybean oil. He’s also allergic to beef and pork so cross contamination is a real concern. Most places will just wrap his chicken up in aluminum foil when they grill...
Food was ok, nothing special ordered seafood and steak! steak was overcooked with some char buildup on the outside but still as my preference of medium rare in the inside. Seafood was Ok, menu says “jumbo shrimp” but it came as small-to-medium size of shrimps but again not a big of a dissatisfaction, more an observation 😅
The Hanger Steak is a Must! and all of the seasoning was fantastic. Old Fashioned was also excellent. Can’t forget to mention the bartender, Chase. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Will be back soon.
