Lately I've been getting a lot of open packages in my ice cream novelties. I bought some toffee bars and one of them had a sealed package but no ice cream. I've been buying Mayfields for years but I've been very disappointed lately.

Mayfields ice cream sandwich’s I bought at Food City recently didn’t have a taste. No flavor at all, what’s happened to what I have always loved. $6.00 just to eat a cold treat with no flavor is a lot to pay. So disappointed, no use in eating them. Never again!

Quiet and quant .. we stopped with a group of 12 with pre-booked tickets for the tour. It lasted maybe 30 minutes. Parking was free and many good photo ops along the way.During the tour we were given the process and history of Mayfield and how many milk bottles they fill each day. Pretty amazing place. Hard working staff and a free scoop of ice cream at the end.

I have been a loyal and faithful customer of Mayfield dairy products for years I have always thought that they do have the best ice cream around this area and black walnut has always been my favorite until the past couple of years. They use to have big pieces of black walnuts in their ice cream but now all they have are black walnut crumbs in it which is why I have switched to another brand of ice cream. Blue Bell ice cream has a great black walnut ice cream with bigger pieces of the black walnuts that you can actually taste, it’s like Mayfield use to have but now they just put crumbs in it and maybe add some flavoring. I understand that companies have to make a profit try to cut costs somewhere but when you cut quality to save a few dollars they may want to rethink their slogan about the worlds best ice cream.
