food and drinks are wonderful. but the AC being out ruins the experience. the inside of this building shouldn’t be hotter than the OUTSIDE, if i can’t stand it after 5 minutes i can’t imagine how the employees feel!

This place sucks for a 6.56 mediocre latte?! Seems like this place needs some cleaning. For the price, this is a scam... the food and coffee are below mediocre. I got a croissant sandwich with pesto... the pesto tasted expired and the croissant was soggy. Overall this place is ass, terrible prices and horrible food and coffee. Never coming back.

Fresh bagels, huge biscuits, delicious jam, unique sandwich options, and a variety of coffee options!
The staff was lovely, even when I had to get my check adjusted. Def would stop again!

I had 5 mins to grab a donut that I knew I would enjoy and not question. I usually get iced coffee too and it’s always good no matter what you get but I just got a donut today. Great place, quality food, quality drinks, and a good atmosphere. (Cinnamon donut is insanely good)

I love coming to this Mean Mug before work every day! The location is super convenient for me, and I love their coffee and breakfast/lunch options (my usual is a Caprese with Turkey). Their prices are also a lot better than going to Starbucks down the road, and the crew gets to know their regulars so I always get good service. With this being a local shop, I would expect a slightly longer wait on busy days, but it’s totally worth it for my daily cup of mocha.

The Mean Mug is a great spot for a casual brunch. The food is delicious, and the pastries are always a hit. The drinks could be a bit stronger (specifically the non-coffee options), but overall, it’s a decent place to hang out. The area is cute, but it’s a bit too close to the mall. This makes sense business wise, however, it disrupts the peace of the atmosphere when the traffic is a haze.

I keep trying to give this place a chance and it’s terrible every time! Today, we ordered a quiche and coffee, horchata, and burrito via door dash. The quiche was a joke. You could see that the egg whites and yolk weren’t mixed well, it wasn’t fully cooked through, the crust was soggy, and it came broken. Wtf? The drinks were completely cold. The burrito was okay but the eggs weren’t fresh nor the potatoes.

Other times I’ve been, it’s been disappointing too. Like their pastries. They’re over priced and not good. I tried their donut once and it was so cakey and hard. I seriously don’t understand.

The coffee tasted bitter and burnt. Their cappuccinos are joke. Seems like no one in Chattanooga understands how to make a proper cappuccino. Why are you offering several sizes for a cappuccino which defeats the purpose of a cappuccino? You just end up with a latte.

I have physically gone to this location and witnessed them trying to operate with one cashier having to take orders, make drinks, etc. Hire more people and boost your quality!

The service was honestly terrible. Almost no one was pleasant. I’m a barista so I know how stressful the job can be, but I am always kind to customers. The food and lattes were great; however, the cold brew tasted sour and was almost undrinkable.
