“Located conveniently near downtown and on campus, UPD feels like it may be more familiar to college students than many working in the city but to their loss as this is a lunch gem not to be missed. The best falafel I've had, period. Fresh hummus. Lamb plates. Black tea from the pot (excellent on a lazy rainy day, from experience). Also, this town has a Hawaiian pizza deficit and UPD doesn't only offer it but does so in personal sized pies. Ordering through the Slice app ahead is also my favorite online ordering experience I've had with food in Chatt and has always been hot and ready to go when I've been on the move. A treasure with a little actual history in the city when trendy glossy brunch holes keep popping up all over town. Keep your palete engaged and Chattanooga flavorful by giving this a shot next time you need to get lunch out.“

I’m bothering to leave a review because I know it is important for restaurants, especially, and not doing so helps no one… We, perhaps, challenged them today by having a party of twelve, however, a well organized team would have risen to that occasion. Our food was late, forty minutes late, arrived piecemeal, and mostly cold. Most just accepted this, I did not. Though my entree looked ‘ok’ it was cold. Greasy, cold, over cooked potatoes are not something you serve, ditto a breakfast burrito. Teamwork among the staff seemed lacking. Our server seemed to lose us in the fray. Today was a cool day, breezy, yet in spite of that the place was wide open with garage doors up and we had to ask several times to close a nearby door that was repeatedly propped open by staff. I spoke to a manager regarding my entree but it apparently did no good, as I never did get the fresh hot entree she promised and bummed a slice of pizza from someone in our party. I’ll be honest; the pizza was good! You eat even cold pizza when you’re hungry… As I said, I will try these folks again in hopes of a better experience.“
