Great and consistent food. Good place to watch a game with a nice large bar top where Becca or Jessie provide fantastic service with a nice selection of beer.

We go to this Mellow Mushroom on every trip to Chattanooga. The pizza is great and it is conveniently located to rock climbing, the discovery center, and the aquarium. We had Joshua (Shua) for a waiter and he was over the top amazing!

Megan was very patient with us as we were trying to decide what to order. We had our two grandsons with us, and they hadn't been here before.

Megan was very attentive, and was on top of our refills.

FABULOUS pizza and salad! We got the Super Pepp pizza and house salad. We even went twice while we were in Chattanooga!

It is a good place to getaway but the place is crowded so we had to wait for both table and the food. We had thin crust pizza but was not really thin crust so this may need some change, but our experience overall was decent.

We love going to this Mellow Mushroom when we come downtown for the day. The food is always delicious and served hot. Megan, our server, was great and so helpful!

That was an incredibly disappointing experience. The restaurant was practically empty, and I quickly understood why. It took the host nearly four minutes to decide where to seat us in an almost empty dining room. After placing our order, I let the server know about my pineapple allergy to avoid cross contamination. She went back to the kitchen and returned to say that only one item on the entire menu was safe, the gluten free version of the meat pizza we had chosen.

Her explanation made no sense. She told us they use their hands to top all pizzas, which left me questioning their food safety practices. If cross contamination is an issue, how is gluten free versus regular, with the exact same toppings, considered safe. To make matters worse, when someone discloses a food allergy, the correct response is not, “How bad is your allergy.” An allergy is an allergy.

I’ve eaten at 3 other mellow mushrooms and this has never been an issue. If you have any type of food allergy, I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.
