First basket of chips are free. After that, they charge you. Also they charge you for hot sauce. Salsa tastes like pizza sauce and chips are not cooked at a high enough temperature and taste like oil. Food was just ok. Not anything to rave home about.

While staying the night at the Read House, we Googled restaurants near us and Mexiville came up and sounded like a good choice. Oh my gosh, I don't think I can even describe how good the food was. The chips and salsa definitely tasted homemade and the chips were so warm and crunchy. We ordered the Volcano fajitas to split and it was enough food for us to be stuffed and still have a to-go box packed full. Our bill came to under $30 before tip. Next time I am in Chattanooga,...

This place is great! I got the mexiville taco plate and for under 15.00 got 3 huge tacos with fresh avocado slices, their own salsa, tortilla chips and a cup of salsa plus a generous portion of Mexican rice and refried beans. Everything was hot and delicious. I got it as take out and service was fast and friendly.
