Exceptionally Good Ribs. Great place for take-out if you like amazing smoke flavor, moist ribs, and meat that not overcooked. No doubt these were the most flavorful ribs I have tasted in years because they were smoked to perfection. Thanks!

The best barbecue stops in Chattanooga are on Dodson street. Tried a new today at Mrs. Tee. The owner was kind enough to give me a try of his smoked pork ribs without the sauce. Wow! Amazing! I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time. So happy that I did. Great barbecue!

Located on the corner of Glass and Dodson, the gray building is set back from the street a bit and angled. We were on Glass and drove past it heading toward downtown but saw it easily on the way back. The drive thru is accessed from Dodson. There is a small parking lot as well with about 12 seats under a carport-type cover. The menu is taped to the wall next to the drive up ordering window. The owner was working the window and talked us through what he had left. Although he was out of the pulled pork, he offered to remove the bones from some ribs. My dining partner ordered the ribs. The only two sides were bbq beans and cole slaw.We decided to eat in the covered area even though it was hot out, but the cover offered decent shade. The food was brought out to us in about five minutes by the owner, who also came out a couple times to check on us.The pork without bones was exceptional. Lots of meat, very well seasoned. The sauce was rather sweet. I didn't ask if there was another option, but next time I'll just let the rub provide all the flavor. The meat was tender with a light smoke flavor. Truly excellent. The beans were nothing special. Mine had one small piece of meat. The cole slaw is finely minced and pretty light. There is no tang, but it's not straight mayonnaise based either. It really went well with the pork. The ribs were also outstanding. Fall off the bone tender, moist, and wonderfully flavored. Again, I would forego the sauce but my dining partner liked the addition the sauce made to the flavor of the rub. The same sides, with the same impression.I'm really glad we turned around to find Ms. Tee's. We would not have known what excellent food we missed. Although there are many options for bbq, this place has earned a spot on our rotation.

Great service, fantastic people, and reasonable price.Minus one star only because they did not offer a half slab option, only rib plate or full slab. The meat around the small bones was a little too done, but the rest of the slab was fantastic. Great flavor, seasoned just enough and additional sauce provided on the side just in case. I didn’t add a drop.Slide through Ms Tee’s and see for yourself, happy to recommend.
