They serve quality food but there's nothing really special on the menu.
The prime rib was excellent, the drinks were good not great. Sat at the bar, service was good.

Excellent food, drinks, and service. What I don't understand is the lighting choice for dinner. It is blindingly bright. It catches you off guard, so I'd ask to either sit at the bar or on the patio, not near the kitchen. I'm really curious as to why it's so bright during dinner. After dinner, we went next door to what I believe is their sister establishment, Nightcap. It was lovely. Highly recommend checking it out.

If you don't fit their profile they will make an excuse and send you away. We had reservations and said we were next in line, then they told us it was going to be awhile and we ld have better luck at another establishment.
Go somewhere else where you won't be judged.

Great place for a 2 hr visit with family. It will take half of that time to be served properly.
Vegetarian options: Potato leak soup is excellent. Very small portion.

Come on a Sunday afternoon and unfortunately too early for the dinner menu. Overall was a good experience. The food was good but nothing too out of the ordinary. I’ll try it out again but the fries were great. Service was a bit slow, employees seemed more focused on what seemed to be the owner or manager dining.

Visiting Chattanooga for the first time, and decided to stop in for dinner. Plenty of staff but our server was slow on our needs. The food was underwhelming, the focaccia is bland bread, we ordered steak and fries. Steak was not seasoned and $9 for fries?? The pasta dinner, sauce was awful. Chimichurri steak was not skirt steak just steak with attempt at chimichurri.

Beautiful restaurant, great bar area. We had the whipped feta cheese appetizer. It was amazing. The place wasn’t very crowded and service was wonderful. Definitely recommend.

Our waitress was Amber she was amazing. She gave great recommendations. She went above and beyond for me and my husband. The manger there Jay Bailey made sure we had the best experience. When the two found out that me and my husband and just got married the day before. They surprised us with campaign and pie. I highly recommend this place to any and everyone that will listen. And yes the food was amazing and well worth the price. We will be back soon.

It's a great place to dine. The downtown ambiance is amazing! I recently had the French Dip, and it is perfect. The staff was welcoming and attentive as well. If you're looking for a great downtown dining experience, I highly recommend Old Gilman Grill.
