Great atmosphere but be ready to stay 2+ hours and finish off the evening dancing and breaking plates. Safety tip, closed toed shoes, long pants and sleeves, and safety googles should be required. You will need them when the plates start flying. Also, you do not need to slam plates on floor with all your might to get them to break.

You have to go here! This is the absolute best place in town for great food and an even better time. The owner is fantastic and so friendly. We just had my 40th birthday celebration here and it did not disappoint. Be fully prepared to drink and dance until you drop.

Opa was a fun experience until it came time to pay. The website clearly says that the prix fixe menu is $95 per person and includes a 4 course meal, dessert, soft drink, and red house wine but when it came time to pay our group was charged $135 per person. When I mentioned that the website says $95 the owner told me that that didn't include the wine. The wine was automatically brought to our table without us requesting it and there was no mention of additional costs until I brought it up. It's a shame that the experience had to be tarnished at the end. I will not be back.

We felt lied to. The website says $95 per person, all inclusive, and at the end it was $135. Not including gratuity. The experience was fun and the food was pretty good but we felt cheated by the price gouge.

We came here for a bachelorette party and had an absolute blast! The food was fantastic. There is a surprise at the end of the meal so wear closed toed shoes. As long as you embrace the experience you’ll have a wonderful time!

This was a very unique and special experience. We went to celebrate a birthday, little did we know we would be getting dinner and a show. The atmosphere is lovely. Walking through the restaurant felt like being transported to a cafe terrace in Santorini. The night started with ginger tea and homemade wine from the owners vineyard. We were served three courses of authentic and delicious Greek food, later came dessert. After everyone was finished eating, we smashed plates and danced on top of them. The night ended with a lot of laughter and friendly goodbyes. What an unforgettable experience Michael provided for us, I feel so grateful that he shared his food and culture with us, it was an obvious labor of love. I will be back to imbibe and dine as often as possible. Opa may be Chattanooga’s most precious hidden gem.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food seemed like reheated store-bought garbage, the wine was subpar, and the owner was rude and disrespectful. On top of that, we were overcharged tip on an unauthorized bill not signed by me. Definitely not worth a visit.

This place surpassed my expectations!!! Wonderful food, the owner is so sweet!! He let me and my now husband smash plates when we came in so the photographer could capture some shots of us smashing plates since he normally does the plate smashing at the end of the evening. He got everybody dancing! Kept bringing out a ton of plates for us to smash! The food was so good, he gets fresh ingredients and makes everything from scratch the day of! When you walk in it feels like you’ve stepped into a restaurant in Santorini. He made this such a fun experience! So happy we decided to do this after our wedding!!!! We will for sure be back!

Don't go in February/winter!!We had my sons wedding dinner there and there was ZERO HEAT. We all froze!!! The grandparents in our party were extremely cold..not good:(They should have some type of heat source. Its hard to enjoy a dinner when you are cold. The food was wonderful but the amount charged per person wasn't equivalent to what we received. Paper napkins and paper tableclothes and no heat:(

The owner was incredibly friendly, the food came out quickly and tasted absolutely delicious, and the dessert (I got the chocolate cake) was decadent. The highlight of the night was when we were given what seemed like 100+ plates to smash on the ground and dance on top of with traditional Greek music playing in the background. So much fun! 10/10 would go again.

This might easily be one of the best restaurants in Chattanooga. The food was delicious, wine was , and the vines feel like you’re on a Greek island. I truly forgot where I was for a bit!! Can’t wait to come back, and the owner Michael is an epic

So much fun, great food, amazing atmosphere, served directly by the owner and ends with a party and a Greek tradition of smashing plates. Never experienced anything like this in a restaurant. We had a blast.
