Portofino's Homestyle Buffet

TV dinner. Garlic pudding, canned veggies, and highly priced. You will get more satisfaction out of McDonald's..2 person sitting, $25.00 no kidding...

Incredible service, clean buffet, quality food! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Not much of a presence outside, could be considered a hole in the wall, but its outstanding. 11/10

A little out of the way but probably the best place in all over Chattanooga! It’s not a big place but it has big taste! The food is lip smacking good. I went on meat loaf day and everything was so tasty, the corn was super buttery, the carrots had an herb on them I had never had in combination. The deserts you could tell was made very fresh and was very flavorful the peach cobbler tasted like the peaches were fresh cut not canned. Everything seemed fresh not frozen. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting some amazing country style food. It 10x beats Cracker Barrel and you can’t beat the price.

First time eating there today, and I will definitely be back. They have a southern homestyle buffet, with delicious roast, veggies, and cobbler. I like their quaint decor & cozy dining room. I would’ve taken photos at the time, but left my phone in the car.

I enjoy this buffet. Their pot roast was very tender and flavorful. Of course the food isn’t the most amazing quality, but for the money it’s fantastic. It’s also very clean and all the food is hot. I’ve been twice and will return again.

Dining area was clean and well maintained, food was great. The peach cobbler wasn’t the best but everything else was good for a buffet. Staff was nice and courteous. Definitely will come here again the next time I’m in Chattanooga.

Well to start off they were so friendly, welcomed us right in. When we tried the food it was SOOOO GOOD!!! The homestyle cooking in this place was to die for. It was a beautiful atmosphere. To be honest I wasn't paying much attention to the decor the food was that good.

The atmosphere is nice. Nice staff. I think the food is overpriced for the food served. Meatloaf is very bland as alot of the dishes did not have alot of flavor. Each to his own but I didn't think it was worth the $.

Today was my first of many visits to come. The food was excellent and at a fair price. I don't usually eat chicken and dumplings...but the ones I had today won me over...the best since my nannies...

Delicious food, friendly staff, and super convenient to Shallowford Rd. business workers. It's also a nice change of pace from all the fast food type eateries in the area. We'll definitely go back again soon.

The food was 'buffet OK' if you know what I mean. But for $8.95 plus $2.50 for a drink go to Wally's Buffet East Ridge and get better food and more variety for a buck less. Or go to Chop House and eat from their $8, $9, $10 menu. Better food for the same or less. What would make it a good deal and 4 stars would be $8.95 includes drink. Nice setup though.
