BBQ carrot appetizer was awesome. Trout was excellent and grouper special was really good. First time there and we will be back soon.
Promptly seated at reserved table. Service was fast and efficient. Food was extremely good. The BBQ carrots are ALWAYS great. Dinner was excellent.
We went here for me and my wife's 4 year anniversary, the service, food and experience was a 5/5. Amazing experience and will be back next time we are in Chattanooga! Ps. The pimento cheese bacon burger is a must. One of the best burgers I've had.
Fried chicken was amazing and the Mac and cheese was the best I've ever had and second isn't close!
Foid was great, service was exceptional. We had outdoor seating and it was nice, just a little noisy because of the street below.
Awesome meal! I had grilled salmon with tomato bread pudding and my son had a Cobb salad. Both were delicious. I highly recommend the Public House
Very pleasurable experience was very accommodating to our 10 minute late(due to traffic) arrival. Waiter provided great service from start to finish Would highly recomend.
Great place for a casual meal. Food was excellent. The hot sauce with the fried chicken is to die for. Service was good. Value is good. Would go back next time there.
Ross provided excellent service to our table of 11! Fantastic and delicious. From the cocktails to the apps, small plates and entrees.
Was not impressed at all! The restaurant is very dull to begin with when you walk in the food was very subpar. We ordered ham and biscuits with apple butter and another type of jelly and deviled eggs for an appetizer. My husband and my daughters, both love biscuits and country ham and apple butter, but it was more like charcuterie ham the biscuits were hard just not very good. I am gluten-free so I went with the deviled eggs. They were very mid as far as Taste goes. The shrimp and grits were very bland and the steak and fries had absolutely no taste. Definitely not a restaurant we will be going back to. The service was better than the food.

We have eaten at Public House twice now and both times we have sat on the outdoor patio. Both experiences were excellent. The service was exceptional and the food was full of flavor. We had everything from a grilled chicken Caesar to grilled salmon, to a pimento cheese hamburger. All three of us left fully satisfied.
Always good food. They have a special of the day in addition to their menu items. I love their trout. I have not tasted any better than what they serve there. I also love their sacatosh vegetables. All fresh.
Everything was outstanding. It was a birthday celebration for a member of my party and the restaurant went out of their way to make it a special, memorable occasion. The Public House continues to be my "go to" destination for consistently good food and service.
Reservation worked like a charm! The staff was attentive and helpful and the food was great!
This is a beautiful restaurant with an ample and capable staff. Our waiter was Ian and he was just delightful. He was helpful and attentive and efficient. The restaurant has a nice drink menu with some seasonal choices. Their food menu is also very nice and they also offered some specials. We started with the smoked trout dip. It was delicious and came with both crostini and some vegetables. For my entree I had the pot roast and it was truly the best pot roast I've ever eaten in my life. My husband had the shrimp and grits. He was fine with his choice but he liked my pot roast better. :) Someday we will be back in Chattanooga (we live in Atlanta) and I hope we get to go back to Public House!
