Their pupusa was amazing, the sauces and their pickled vegetables was top-notch. Fried plantains were the best, will definitely come again for this. The only thing I didn't like was Horchata. Service was good.

I've been in this area for a while and I've heard great things about this place. I've always wanted to go but the timing never panned out until I was in East Brainerd and free for dinner. It was the perfect time and place to go.
My friend and I came here, got seated quickly, and ordered right away. We both got horchata and three pupusas. I picked a Chicken, Chicken and Cheese, and Bean and Cheese pupusas. When I first ordered it I wasn't sure how large the pupusas would be and if it would be enough. But after seeing it and eating, the portion size was perfect.
Every bite was delicious. The filling inside was delicious and had a generous amount. But don't even get me started on the sides. The curtido (pickled veggies/vinegar slaw) was incredible. When they dropped off our food, they also gave us a full container of curtido. After we were done with our food, our container was finished as well. There was only juice left inside and if I wasn't full, I would've drank that thing. It had the perfect tang, not too vinegar-y or too acidic, and the vegetables were so crunchy and fresh. And the salsa too! Flavorful, had a nice kick, perfect spice level.
I've heard good things about this place for years and after coming here, it's not hard to see why. I look forward to coming back here again.

So good, and a unique taste that you can't get at most latin food establishments. Give them a try! Get the loroco pupusa with cheese, put the hot sauces and the slaw they provide on it and be amazed!

We went as we were craving lomo salteado. Very happy with our meal. They accommodated my son’s picky taste buds (no cilantro). He gobbled down his meal. He REALLY liked it.
We also got a bean and cheese pupusa. Their cabbage slaw was excellent. My son loved that too.
It’s an interesting menu with Salvadoran, Guatemalan and Peruvian dishes as well as tacos.
We will definitely return. Son also got a tres leche strawberry cake to take home. It looks amazing.

The pupusas here are very good. I’d argue some of the best. Every ounce of cheese in the pupusa is seasoned not only with salt and herbs, but with love. As I took my first bite I was teleported immediately into El Salvador, except the sun was no longer the sun, it was a pupusa.
I tried to exclaim but I couldn’t, because I too was a pupusa, I guess it’s true, you are what you eat. And eating here is where you’ll experience true change, because 70% of the clientele does not speak English, which speaks the quality.
When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade, when life gives you Pupuseria Marelyn, you give them your money.
Was very disappointing. I ordered 9 tacos ($40.80) so I paid $4 for $2 tacos. They were super small and had very little meat.. Will not be going back.
Great food, great drinks
As someone native to el salvador I don’t find this food authentic. It could be good but the pupusas are too greasy and they use mid quality meat.
Maybe for someone who hasn’t had good Salvadorian food its a 3.5 but to someone well versed in good salvadorian food this is a 2-3 at best.
Hopefully the cooks can improve their technique and make things with more class and better ingredients because serving Yucca Fritas with ZERO cabbage is just nonsense.

Nice Salvadorian restaurant. Good portions.
The services was slow. Took my family to have dinner. 3 different tables got there after us and they got their food first than us. Our food took over 30 mints and I never got a refill on my drink that I paid for. They need to focused on customer service and respect every client. And not choose preference just because of the race. That been said I go once a month just because I crave popusas.
I want to start off by saying I love this place. The food is so delicious. Especially the cow foot soup, I freaking love it... but while i was eating this order I bit into a strange texture to find a napkin in my food.... a cooked napkin. Maybe I am missing something about how it's made but I am seriously struggling to understand how someone wouldn't notice they are stir frying a napkin.... I am still giving the food 5 stars because I damn near almost ate that napkin it was good and well seasoned it is still tempting me even now.
I doordashed 3 pupusas(squash, chicken, and cheese), guac, and a pineapple drink. Every piece of it is beyond incredible. Still warm when it arrived and everything
Great Gautemalan food.
I highly recommend the: Garnachas, Lomo Saltado, and call before coming in in case you are looking for Pupusas, since they quickly ran out of them.
