This has been a long time favorite for our family but lately it seems to be going downhill as far as quality of food. I hope they get back on track. The last time we were there it was freezing!!! The thermostat was set at 67!!!!

Been going here for years, in fact last week for lunch and the pad thai was spot on. Got it to go tonight and its the worst pad thai I've ever had! Ontop of that I read the receipt on the bag to make sure there wasn't an order mixup. Got pad thai with shrimp and no peanuts. It was even written in blue ink on the receipt stapled to the bag NO PEANUTS. Not only did it have tons of peanuts (thank God my family member isn't allergic) but there was ZERO shrimp, which you have to pay extra for. Unreal. There is no consistency at all with the food here. Been a loyal customer a long time but I will not be back any time soon!

I arrived at 12:15 PM for a work group lunch. The main reason for coming here was because one of the work group would constantly insist on having a lunch here, so I acquiesced. There's a part of the restaurant called the Rain Room where you can sit on the floor (with cushions), but we ate in a booth. My coworkers had already arrived and ordered some spring rolls that came with a dipping sauce (I think it was sweet and sour sauce). The rolls were good, everyone liked them. Our server, Brooke, was also friendly. The bathrooms were very nice looking and well kept. I ordered Rain's Special Noodles with crab and I opted for a spice level of hot (I think it was the second hottest). The noodles took 9 minutes and 45 seconds to arrive. Unfortunately, the crab ended up being imitation crab. What irked me about that is the menu made no mention of the crab being imitation crab, and if you pick seafood as your protein, you have to pay an additional $5. I opted to pay the additional $5 because I assumed I was getting actual crab and not its cheap knock off variety. I really think they need to mention that the crab is imitation crab on the menu. The dish itself was tasty, but again, I was wanting it with actual crab. For dessert, I picked a full order of Fried Banana, which took 7 minutes and 55 seconds to arrive. The fried bananas had a thick breading, which did make it crispy, and it did taste of banana. The ice cream that came with the bananas was decent, but I can't say the dessert overall was anything special. In conclusion, while I had my issues with the food I got, I still had a pleasant experience and wouldn't be opposed to trying this place again.

Ordered Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) this time. They never put enough basil in their dishes that call for it. :-( Also ordered it 2xThai hot and no one would've called what I got (and paid extra for) spicy.

Spring rolls were good, as usual.

I recommend, however the service was a bit slow. The atmosphere is very nice and they have a traditional room for seating on floor cushions.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant. The food is always delicious, hot, and so flavorful. The atmosphere is warm and very clean. The service is stellar with friendly staff who pay attention to details.

So the server was new i wont give him too much grief but the person training him did him no favors. Communication was off. As I mentioned the Grammer in the menu means and (it was a comma) it didn't say or then it should come with all. He took it as I just wanted one when I didn't. Both mine and my bff protein were cold but the noodles were hot. The shift lead tried to argue about the peanut sauce which indeed was cold I could tell when the waitress brought it back by the consistency. Food flavor is mediocre. The actual manager came out offered a discount and took the seafood ($4 might i add) extra for wanting just shrimp (which i didn't the server didn't convey it right).
When we got there a server was sitting in the front on his phone and waited too long of a time to seat us.
Overall wasn't good but good luck to the new guy! Hope it works out.
