The worst service I have ever received. I paid $23 for a teriyaki chicken entrée to go. When I got home, the soup and salad were not in the bag. I called back to ask about it, and the worker stated that I didn’t order that. When I brought up that I paid $23, she replied, “Well, that’s our price.” Then hung up on me.

A must-stop for every traveler! We just had a fantastic lunch at Rice Boxx and honestly — everything was perfect from start to finish!
We ordered: • Hibachi noodles with steak • Volcano roll • Tuna spice roll • Tropical roll • Cashew chicken • Pad Thai
Every single dish was fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The vegetables in the cashew chicken were perfectly sautéed — crisp, not overcooked, and lightly seasoned to let the natural flavors shine through. Not too spicy, just balanced and delicious.
The sushi rolls were outstanding — each one had its own distinct character and flavor. Bright, flavorful, and beautifully presented — not just thrown together like in some places.
Service was quick and genuinely kind — everyone we spoke to was polite and welcoming.
The atmosphere felt authentic and calming, with soft music and a cozy little fish tank adding to the relaxed vibe. Honestly, it felt like we were having dinner at a friend’s house — warm, casual, and comforting.
Highly recommend — this was such a great stop on our Florida road trip!

This is truly a gem. Located in a basic area and doesn’t look like much from the outside, but once you walk in, it’s lovely. The service was great and I wonder if the woman serving us is part of the ownership. If she isn’t, she’s an amazing server. If she is an owner, she’s loves her business and shows it by how she treats the customer.
I typically am not a fan of a restaurant that merges multiple cuisine types. But I have to admit they pull it off. Our table had both sushi and Chinese food and everything was very good. I plan on revisiting and encourage everyone to give it a try. I can’t imagine anyone dealing away unhappy.

I was in town for the weekend and ordered the general tso and hibachi chicken. We ordered a large portion for an additional $12 change on top of the $21 meal. Absolutely not worth the upgrade. The portion size went from 3/4 rice, 1/4 chicken to 1/2 chicken 1/2 rice. Just not worth an additional $12 in opinion. The hibachi chicken was plain & flavorless. The teriyaki sauce was provided as a side sauce in a small container. Overall, the food lacked flavor, in comparison to other Chinese restaurants I’ve experienced in Chattanooga. Our order totaled $65 via DoorDash (free delivery fee due and other charges to membership) & the portion size did not equate to the amount. I would suggest a different spot, especially for the price and quality.

I can’t rave enough about this place. We are in a landlocked area of Tennessee yet they still manage to deliver the most fresh sushi possible. They’re always super kind at the register and on the phone. The food is phenomenal. I go at least once or twice a month and order many rolls of sushi and usually one hot dish. The shrimp lo mein is my favorite, but make sure to ask for a side of rice. That’s how I eat it but maybe you don’t. I like hibachi style instead of Chinese style. It just taste fresher when I’m getting hot items. Their tempura is always on point and they also serve some other Asian dishes besides Chinese and Japanese so explore. They’re already doing the main stays right so if you’re more adventurous then do so. I’m sure if you give them feedback that is negative that they will fix it for you. The family that owns this place is amazing. I’ve been coming since 2008 when I lived here prior. Gone five years and yet the quality and service is still the same. Exemplary. Best Asian food in Chattanooga. I’ve tried all the other ones that pop up even when I lived here before. They are all gone. And to see the support that the neighborhood gave to this family during Covid when people were racist and crap. There’s a reason they’re still in business. They’re the best.
