Incredible. One of the most welcoming and warm restaurants I've ever eaten at. The food hits every standard of quality you would expect in southern soul food. Fatty, comforting and made with love. Ambiance is otherworldly. An amazing and authentic experience; come here if you have the chance.

Ok, I didn’t actually get to eat anything. The times listed on Google say they are open 11am-11pm on Saturday. I showed up at 4, there was no one there. As I sat trying to figure out where else to go, an older man appeared. I asked what time they were open and he said 5. I live nearby and went home, and returned at 5. I was told then that it would be another 25-30 minutes for the oil to heat up. I said fine, I’ll wait. After 30 minutes they started taking orders. When I asked for mac and cheese, I was told it would be another 45 minutes before it was done. So like…are you open or not? I left without placing an order. It makes me sad because I was trying to support a neighborhood restaurant but I definitely won’t be going back.
