I had the best lunch at River Street Deli in Chattanooga! Their New York-style Reuben was incredible—perfectly toasted bread, packed with flavor. Bruce, the owner, made it feel like a true NYC deli with his warm, fun vibe. The staff was so friendly, and the cozy atmosphere with local art was perfect for a quick stop near Coolidge Park.

this was the best sandwich i ever had in my life im lowkey still drooling. lowkey. my boyfriend and i went there for lunch and we got two sandwiches (muffaletta and roast beef). muffaletta was so good he went back up and ordered a third and we ate all 3 and could have probably eaten a fourth despite being stuffed. delicious. would rate higher but can’t.

River Street is the best sandwich in town, hands down. I need to keep it PG for the sake of the google review, but there's few things I wouldn't do for a Muffaletta from River Street. I'm enjoying one now and write this review with tears streaming down my face in pure ecstasy. I pray that the craftsman behind this sandwich be seated at the very same table as Michelangelo, Botticelli, DaVinci, and all other exceptional Italian masters. Hands down the BEST sandwich I have eaten in my life. I ordered the muffuletta but my husband also ordered the brisket and ham sandwich specials. I would almost move to Chattanooga for this shop alone. My little kids were also big fans! This place is doing it right.
