Ordered Miso soup, edamame, saporro ramen, and fried rice.Miso soup: super gritty and basic. No mushrooms, green onions(which was advertised), literally just miso water..Edamame: sadly probably the best thing and was literally just lt salted nothing interesting here.Saporo ramen: Literally false advertising and really just insulting, says it has pork, bamboo shoot, green onion, miso, and butter... so more than half the dish was missing and they cant even successfully soft boil and egg?...Fried Rice: Sister had that she said it was the worst she had. Doused it in sauce to even eat it and itbbarely contained any meat, mainly just bulking it out to charge 15$ for 90% rice..Service: sub par, we got there mid day and were the only ones on the building was waiting for service and seated after five minutes or so when they noticed we were even there.... waited 20 minutes for orders to be taken and it got there very fast (seems like they just do speed?) No other service besides that had to go ask for the check myself.Overall: if you like ramen or noodle dishes visit somewhere else there's a lot of better places in the chatt area then here, this cost 50$ and was easily the worst food I've had in Chatt. You can easily make instant noodles better then what was served here.

First time at this restaurant - very impressed! The menu is diverse, their lunch specials are reasonably priced, the service was attentive and the food was fresh and flavorful! Looking forward to going back to try more of their sushi.

Went here for lunch and it was so good! We got fried rice with teriyaki salmon, which came with Miso Soup as well. The salmon tasted SO good, which I usually never eat salmon, so I was surprised. The cook told us he makes the sauce homemade, which was just absolutely flavorful and so tasty. We also got a Spicy Crab roll, which was really good as well. My boyfriend and I split everything and spent about $25. It seemed like the owner was the only worker there while we were there, and he seemed to be rocking it. We were greeted instantly coming in, and our food came out surprising faster than we expected. Overall, it was a good experience!

The food was very heavy on salt and over cooked. The staff was very efficient but food was lack luster.

Vegan sushi rolls are clearly marked on the menu. They had a vegan cream cheese for the sushi rolls. The place has seen better days.

Entered the place and was received into a nice environment. Was informed of no sushi rice. Wife and I ordered chicken fried rice since they were out of sushi rice, and got little to no chicken or veggies in the meals we received. We had asked if we could get the chicken fried rice with more veggies and was told yes but received them to go with mainly rice. Personally will never return. Tasted fine and I’m sure the sushi is phenomenal but they lost me.
They have vegan sushi rolls. They have vegan cream cheese for the rolls. That was the highlight.

Amazing food at a bargain served by an unbelievably courteous staff. After moving to area, my wife and I were eager to find a restaurant that could satisfy our desire for authentic Japanese cuisine. Some other places in the area are fine, but none come CLOSE to meeting the price point, quality, or service of Tokyo Chattanooga. Please do yourself a favor and come here.

The food was good, but there was too strong smell from the kitchen. They might need to fix the ventilation.
