David and Denise with Simple Southern Catering have to be some of the nicest people we've ever met! From the start, they were kind, professional, and incredibly accommodating — even pulling off a last-minute tasting for us without missing a beat. They were also so thorough throughout the planning process and made sure to work around dietary restrictions with ease and care.
We went with a taco bar for our wedding (best decision ever!) along with a variety of hand-passed appetizers — and our guests are still raving about the food! Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. On top of that, the service on the day-of was absolutely impeccable.
Simple Southern Catering delivered in every way possible. We would recommend them a million times over!

The wedding at Blackberry Ridge was great but the best part was the catering. Simple Southern Catering provided the service and their catering in Chattanooga that is better than I have ever seen. I wish I would have known about them for our wedding.

I was astounded by David and his entire entourage's impeccable attire when I visited Blackberry Ridge for my friend's wedding. And the food was delicious. My favorite dish was lemon chicken, so good that I had to go back for seconds. This was the height of expertise in Chattanooga catering!!!!!!

It wasn't the best

Put on a great event. Good food. Good drinks. Even came out to a guest in a wheelchair, asked what he wanted and made him a plate. Excellent.

I had amazing experience using Simple Southern Catering for our wedding. They were so kind and personable, and allowed us to create the menu exactly how we wanted it. They have very flexible options that allow you to customize to your preferences and budget. This husband and wife duo business is remarkable because they make all their food from scratch in their kitchen. They invited us over for a tasting in their home and it was wonderful. This is a budget friendly option that does not compromise quality!! We are still enjoying leftover cheesecake from our wedding. :)
On the wedding day, they helped solve a mistake and provided last minute bartending services for us. I (the bride) never heard about this until after the wedding and was pleased with how swiftly and quietly they helped handle it.
They also helped us get a discount for renting table linens and stayed until the end of the wedding to take the linens back for us.
Their staff were very professional yet fun and seemed to be enjoying themselves during the wedding, this made me so happy to see!
They even took the time to add flowers to our little plain white cake that we forgot to decorate. It was stunning!
Overall they helped make it the best day of our lives! Thank you David and Denise!
