Soul food done right, right here in NoVA! The collard greens are amazing (& I don’t say that lightly)- as is everything else I tried. And the owners and staff couldn’t be sweeter. I felt like I stopped at a family dinner rather than my first trip to a little restaurant. Definitely will be back!

Tried Soul Food Sensations tonight for the first time. Everything was excellent! Fried chicken was perfect, mac and cheese was delicious and my friend said the collard greens and meatloaf was the best he’s ever eaten. We will definitely be regulars. Can’t wait to try breakfast. Also come hungry, they don’t skimp on portions!

Stopped in yesterday and Had an amazing experience with great service. Amazing food., The chicken was soo good and check out their crack sauce , perfect with the chicken. The meatloaf, chicken fried steak, yams , Mac n cheese , beans , biscuits and greens were all delicious.. also was given some berry pie the wonderful manager and owner were nice enough to give me for my birthday. The pie was delicious paired with ice cream. I left very full and Happy

I found this little place by accident and boy am I glad that I did. Very consistent and food is delicious. I am not a fan of lemon pepper wings, but I actually tried them here due to the reviews and they are the truth! 10 pieces of crispy seasoned goodness. When I was in there the first time I saw a little older lady flipping that hot water cornbread in the kitchen n I knew the food was going to be the truth. Reasonably priced, and delicious, consistent food cooked with love, what else could u ask for? Number one on my places to return to when I'm in Chattanooga.

Soul Food Express might be off the beaten path or not be a fancy white table cloth restaurant. The one thing it definitely is, wholesome, down home, just like grandmas good ole fashioned smoked barbecue. I ordered the rib plate with baked beans, cole slaw and a side of mac and cheese. All of which were flavorful and better than most places in chattanooga. Plus they're all made from scratch. If you frequent Sugar's, Porkers, Sticky Fingers or other Bbq locations, you need to definitely check this place out! It's one of the best in town!!
