Caution before hosting a large party meeting. I attended a meeting there tonight in which the hostess had chosen a pre planned menu. I chose the roasted chicken with mixed vegetables. The chicken was very bland and the vegetables arrived cold. For dessert, I chose the crème brûlée. They brought all of the attendees desserts out around 7:45 in “to go” boxes. None of us were offered to enjoy our dessert there nor were we offered coffee, etc. Although the restaurant did not close until 9:00, I felt that we were rushed out. Very disappointed in the food and service .

Took mom to St John’s for her 89th birthday. The venue in the West Village is certainly a step up from the Market St location. Food was very good! Service was exceptional, our server Cat did an exceptional job taking care of our table. The food was very good. The price point is on the higher side which you’d expect at this type of restaurant. For most people this is a special occasion kind of place, and it’s certainly worth it!

Good service, good food, my quests enjoyed it. Back to the old St John's in a more spacious and relaxed environment. After some down meals here, they seem to be back hitting on all cylinders

Another great meal! We had dinner here the last time we came to Chattanooga and this visit did not disappoint! It’s a beautiful restaurant with friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating staff. The food is absolutely delicious! They can accommodate food allergies too, and seemingly were glad to help! Highly recommend!

I was so disappointed with my experience dining here. I ordered the trout dish and specifically asked how it would be prepared, and was told it would be grilled. I also asked for no salt and very light seasoning. I was surprised when the dish arrived and trout was soaking in what looked like gravy. I took the first bite and it tasted like the chef took the lid off a salt shaker and dumped it on top. I tried to take a couple more bites to find another portion of the dish that might be edible. I found none. It was the absolute worst dish I have ever eaten in a restaurant. My husband and I spent $200 on a meal that I ate 3 bites. I have no desire to ever visit St. John again.

Wonderful fine dining experience. We ordered the crab cakes and they were amazing. My boyfriend tried the steak and it was great. I got the duck and loved it but I was not a fan of the extra stuff that came with it. But everyone’s taste are different so you may enjoy it!

Our bartender/waiter was the best part of our dinning experience. Big thank you to Allen for his customizations to drinks and candid conversation. Food was good, unequal portion sizes: two scallops verus two 4 inch wide beef tartar circles for similar pricing. The Italian creme cake was fresh and not too sweet. Once again Allen's hospitality enhanced the food.

We loved everything from walking in to when we left. It was an experience not just dinner out. The atmosphere was cozy elegant, booth cushions were velvety soft with great support, and staff were friendly and helpful. Our server was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful explaining different menu items.
The chef and his staff prepared mouthwatering dishes with top quality ingredients, that are pleasing to the eyes and taste buds. We were a party of 3, every dish was delicious and we shared them all. Our first time, but definitely not our last!
